0:01 1 second Well, I'm definitely excited for this one because we get to cover two of my favorite, most favorite stories in the entire anthology of eupfology. And to 0:10 10 seconds help us do that is Paul Blake Smith, uh, author, researcher, is joining us today on UAP. Paul, I'm really excited for this. Thanks so much for coming on to the show. 0:18 18 seconds Well, thanks for having me. It's a pleasure to be here. 0:21 21 seconds Yes, thanks so much. Um, the reason why I'm excited is because we get to cover two stories that originally got me into 0:29 29 seconds the UFO topic. A lot of people ask me, you know, Stephen, how did you get into this? Like, what really got you into it? 0:34 34 seconds And I always give a few examples, one of them being ancient Egypt, another one being Edgar Casey, and another one being these two stories that we're going to 0:42 42 seconds cover today. the Eisenhower meeting uh with the Grays and maybe even the Nordics and also Richard Nixon's uh 0:50 50 seconds jaunt with Jackie Gleason right here in my neck of the woods in South Florida. 0:54 54 seconds So, you've written the books, you've done the research on both of those stories, and I can't wait to get started. Um first off, if you don't 1:02 1 minute, 2 seconds mind, if we could start with the Eisenhower story. If anybody is not familiar with it, maybe just a quick overview before we get into the nuts and bolts. 1:11 1 minute, 11 seconds Okay. I uh researched and investigated as much as I could the 1941 UFO crash in my hometown of Cape Gerardo, Missouri. 1:19 1 minute, 19 seconds And I'll have a new book on that out in July. But anyway, while doing that, I kept running into this claim that Eisenhower, our president, met with 1:29 1 minute, 29 seconds extraterrestrials. And I seem to vaguely recall that story popping up in the news when I was a youngster. And I thought, 1:36 1 minute, 36 seconds well, you know, this is a terrific story. What's this all about? Where is there a book about this? and there is none. So, I thought, you know, I'm a 1:44 1 minute, 44 seconds writer. I just finished my Cape Gerardo book. I'll do one on Eisenhower. And I spent years researching this. Instead of 1:52 1 minute, 52 seconds just throwing together some silly theory or fictionalizing it, I try to record facts only and dig into um uh books, 2:01 2 minutes, 1 second magazines, online searches, Google searches, websites, and everything and come up with um the wheat from the 2:09 2 minutes, 9 seconds chaff, so to speak. There's a lot of stuff that gets a little crazy and you have to realize the sources and maybe they're not too reliable, but in most 2:17 2 minutes, 17 seconds cases I think they are reliable and they come from a wide variety and all say the same thing that President Eisenhower one 2:26 2 minutes, 26 seconds year into office uh went on a golf vacation. Now he was obsessed with the Augusta National Golf Course in Georgia and he went there like dozens of times. 2:37 2 minutes, 37 seconds So, uh, in February of 1954, one year into office, he just had to fly 2:44 2 minutes, 44 seconds 2,700 miles to play golf in Palm Springs, California, out in the desert. 2:52 2 minutes, 52 seconds And it seems very strange because that wouldn't help him too much politically because Nixon was his vice president and Nixon was California and that was pretty 3:00 3 minutes solidly in their corner. So, uh, the whole setup for Eisenhower to be there seems pretty shaky, but it seems quite 3:10 3 minutes, 10 seconds reasonable now when we hear these stories that he snuck away from Palm Springs under the cover of darkness 3:17 3 minutes, 17 seconds while the press was recording um or at least visiting this big party at a hotel. Uh, I think this was deliberately arranged that the media was distracted. 3:28 3 minutes, 28 seconds Eisenhower was a military strategist. 3:30 3 minutes, 30 seconds This is what he was known for. Did you know, by the way, he never saw any combat whatsoever. Dwight Eisenhower, 3:37 3 minutes, 37 seconds the great general, he was valued for his strategy and logistics and putting people together and getting them to work 3:44 3 minutes, 44 seconds together in World War II where he was the allied commander in Europe where they had a number of uh fooer or UFO 3:52 3 minutes, 52 seconds stories from the airmen who would come back and land and say, "We saw these crazy things." That's right. Uh so Eisenhower had 4:00 4 minutes experience in this. Now uh apparently um five alien craft came down at Edwards 4:08 4 minutes, 8 seconds Air Force Base about an hour away from Palm Springs where Eisenhower was golfing and visiting with relatives and relaxing and the media was uh duly recording this. 4:21 4 minutes, 21 seconds And uh I noticed in some of my research that a reporter said, "Did you know there's an exact Eisenhower double 4:28 4 minutes, 28 seconds walking around town in Palm Springs?" And it turns out he was a filmmaker from New York. Now, what are the odds that this filmmaker from New York just 4:36 4 minutes, 36 seconds happened to show up in Palm Springs during Eisenhower's vacation? I think he may well have been part of the plan. uh 4:44 4 minutes, 44 seconds in case uh this was a pre-arranged meeting with aliens and something went bad, you could utilize a double in most 4:53 4 minutes, 53 seconds any way, maybe to fool the aliens at first and then step out and say, you know, I'm the real Eisenhower. 4:59 4 minutes, 59 seconds Everything's been cleared. Uh or u the man of the double was a filmmaker. And according to reports, Eisenhower had 5:07 5 minutes, 7 seconds cameras set up in this hanger at Edwards Air Force Base and recorded it. uh one was a black and white camera and the other was color footage. 5:16 5 minutes, 16 seconds And uh there's a man uh who uh uh did some investigating from the the Vatican 5:24 5 minutes, 24 seconds uh many years later and he said he had a source that swears that the Vatican had copies of this video footage, this film footage. 5:33 5 minutes, 33 seconds Wow. Uh and he said that it showed the extraterrestrial craft and when they started moving around one of the cameras shorted out like their technology 5:41 5 minutes, 41 seconds shorted out the camera and kind of that was the abrupt end of that camera. It was either the black and white footage or the uh color footage. I can't remember which. 5:50 5 minutes, 50 seconds So um anyway, this shows again pre-arranged. It was all set up in advance supposedly from what I read uh 5:58 5 minutes, 58 seconds through binary uh language and high frequency communication, radio wave communication that uh military 6:06 6 minutes, 6 seconds scientists exchanged uh data and arranged this meeting with friendly humanlike alien beings. Now who says 6:15 6 minutes, 15 seconds this? Uh a US congressman from New Hampshire actually was a state congressman named Henry W. Mroy. He gave 6:24 6 minutes, 24 seconds a a video deposition of sorts or a confession that he said, "I was allowed to read this document that said 6:30 6 minutes, 30 seconds Eisenhower was offered this meeting and that the military agreed these were friendly aliens and they recommended that he meet with him." And you know, a 6:39 6 minutes, 39 seconds congressman has everything to lose by seeming to be, you know, a space cadet or a little crazy by going forward. So 6:47 6 minutes, 47 seconds this was very brave of Henry Mroy uh to to make this video and say I saw this and I want this on record that uh it was 6:55 6 minutes, 55 seconds my understanding Eisenhower did go to this meeting. It was deemed safe. So uh according to the tale five craft came 7:04 7 minutes, 4 seconds down apparently in the afternoon on Friday nove or February 19th 1954 7:11 7 minutes, 11 seconds and they had a kind of welcoming committee of uh ranking air force personnel including the base commander I 7:18 7 minutes, 18 seconds think and uh they would check it out first and make sure it's all safe. You don't call the president until you've made sure. Eisenhower played golf that 7:26 7 minutes, 26 seconds day and uh he [clears throat] went to visit a friend according to his digitized presidential records and I 7:34 7 minutes, 34 seconds believe it's at that point at like 6 or 7 o'clock at night in the darkness in February in the desert that he took off 7:42 7 minutes, 42 seconds uh he took a small uh military airplane to maybe uh Palmdale or very close to uh 7:49 7 minutes, 49 seconds Edwards Air Force Base and was driven the rest of the way and uh He uh was surrounded at all times, according to an 7:57 7 minutes, 57 seconds eyewitness, by six bodyguards who protected him at the lip of a open hanger, a huge Air Force hanger that 8:05 8 minutes, 5 seconds normally housed these big jets. Uh it was out on the uh desert runway and uh it was good weather and that the aliens 8:14 8 minutes, 14 seconds stepped out of their craft. Again, they had already met with Air Force officials and were waiting for Eisenhower to show up and they approached and they uh kept 8:23 8 minutes, 23 seconds a little distance. Eisenhower did not touch them, did not shake their hand, and was surrounded at all times just to make sure. And the film cameras were 8:31 8 minutes, 31 seconds rolling to record him speaking English. And the extraterrestrials were very friendly and very humanlike and they and they spoke English as well. 8:43 8 minutes, 43 seconds Now, that seems pretty wild, but I've been reading in the past few years that uh scientists and cosmologists feel that 8:50 8 minutes, 50 seconds there are probably a number of Earth light was there that day uh that night actually uh has passed on and I don't 8:58 8 minutes, 58 seconds want this story to die out. So, he told a UFO researcher from England and the story eventually made its way to the 9:05 9 minutes, 5 seconds National Enquire. So, I contacted the guy who wrote the story named Derry Matera for the Enquir and I said, Is is 9:13 9 minutes, 13 seconds this still valid? Do you think this is a valid story? He says, "I stand by everything I reported back in 1982 uh in 9:19 9 minutes, 19 seconds the fall of 82 in this story and the test pilots uh claims." And I he says, 9:26 9 minutes, 26 seconds "I don't change a thing." So, here's another source that said it really did happen and it wasn't just wacky that the aliens were very humanlike. Uh I call 9:36 9 minutes, 36 seconds them like cousins of human beings. Uh the test pilot said they had uh slight differences physically. They were apparently a 9:44 9 minutes, 44 seconds little shorter. Uh they may have had a grayish skin tone compared to our fleshy uh skin color. I'm uh speculating now. I 9:53 9 minutes, 53 seconds think they may have had a wider nostrils and maybe a larger chest or diaphragm for breathing their atmosphere on their 10:00 10 minutes own home planet. But they were uh having what you might call uh a family reunion that they came a long way to meet their 10:08 10 minutes, 8 seconds human cousins and speak to the man in charge. And when you think about it, boy, they're risking a lot. Maybe uh uh 10:15 10 minutes, 15 seconds getting attacked or kept taken captive or something like this. Why would they risk everything to try to meet with Eisenhower? 10:23 10 minutes, 23 seconds And there the reason is pretty good. 10:25 10 minutes, 25 seconds They were deeply concerned by Eisenhower's uh nuclear test program that he was 10:32 10 minutes, 32 seconds detonating atomic bombs. He and Truman before him recklessly in the air, in the 10:39 10 minutes, 39 seconds ground, in the sea. Uh they were uh spreading nuclear uh contamination and 10:46 10 minutes, 46 seconds it was uh polluting our planet and even threatening to spread into outer space. 10:52 10 minutes, 52 seconds And they they begged practically Eisenhower to please stop testing these atomic bombs. It's uh very bad for your 10:59 10 minutes, 59 seconds environment and your people. And Eisenhower reportedly told him, "Well, I'm not going to disarm unilaterally. I 11:06 11 minutes, 6 seconds want to see others on our planet also uh disarm or you know stop uh producing them and maybe testing them." And it was 11:14 11 minutes, 14 seconds a few years later that President uh Kennedy uh produced the nuclear testban uh treaty which Eisenhower supported. 11:23 11 minutes, 23 seconds But uh this seems like a pretty valid reason for aliens to land and step out and try to talk to the man in charge. I 11:31 11 minutes, 31 seconds don't know who else he would talk to. Uh I think it's very possible that Eisenhower's Secretary of the Air Force was there, General Nathan Twining. He's 11:40 11 minutes, 40 seconds uh you may have heard that name from the Cutler Twining report and the or memo uh talking about uh MJ12 and other matters 11:49 11 minutes, 49 seconds that Twining died I think in early 81 or 80 82 and that's when this test pilot finally stepped forward and gave his 11:56 11 minutes, 56 seconds story. I think uh Twining was like the last one alive and he thought well safe to talk now. 12:02 12 minutes, 2 seconds Yeah. So, uh, it would make sense for him to be there being an expert in, uh, aerial craft and being a pretty tough guy himself. 12:12 12 minutes, 12 seconds Yeah. And so, this is interesting because and that's why, you know, I'm glad I always try to get some more details on stories like this where I 12:19 12 minutes, 19 seconds it's always been my understanding, Paul, that um, there were two meetings, right? 12:24 12 minutes, 24 seconds And so, maybe we can speak to this that there was meetings with the Nordics, which maybe have always been described as humanlike. So, it sounds like maybe that's what was being described there. 12:33 12 minutes, 33 seconds And then there was this meeting with the Grays. And during this meeting, this is this is the story I always heard that 12:39 12 minutes, 39 seconds the Nordics weren't really, I guess, uh, compromising with what we were trying to do. They didn't really like our deal as 12:46 12 minutes, 46 seconds far as, hey, we want technology and we'll give you XYZ. But the Grays were willing to deal and then Eisenhower made that deal with the Grays. Is that 12:54 12 minutes, 54 seconds somewhere in the ballpark of what happened along with what you're saying or is that like it would Yeah, I think in general that sounds uh 13:02 13 minutes, 2 seconds at least plausible, possible. It's it's tough to pin down this treaty, but he did worry tremendously according to the 13:10 13 minutes, 10 seconds test pilot about these friendly aliens showing themselves and just touching off a panic everywhere. This would cause the 13:19 13 minutes, 19 seconds economy to be damaged, the stock market maybe crash. No one wanted to panic and uh people in those days remembered the 13:27 13 minutes, 27 seconds war of the world's broadcast the radio show from 1938 I think it was and that there was the perception that people 13:35 13 minutes, 35 seconds panicked and ran around in the streets which was vastly overblown a few people did uh call radio stations and police 13:42 13 minutes, 42 seconds stations and were very nervous but uh it's the perception of that and the government wanted to avoid a panic at all costs so Eisenhower asked them 13:51 13 minutes, 51 seconds you know could you stay alo move. Don't sit down and start talking to people and you know make us crazy and then you know 14:00 14 minutes who knows what people might go after them with guns thinking they're demons or something like this. Uh so he asked 14:07 14 minutes, 7 seconds them to stay aloof and in exchange uh he supposedly set up a base where in Nevada 14:16 14 minutes, 16 seconds uh there was no one around that aliens could land in a uh safe friendly obscure environment and we would supply them 14:23 14 minutes, 23 seconds with a little biology and technology and they would supply us equally. Now, that is according to a document called I 14:31 14 minutes, 31 seconds think above top secret uh that was leaked in 2017 to Heather Wade, a radio show host. She took over for Artbell. 14:41 14 minutes, 41 seconds So, I asked her could I use this document in my book? Uh because it does mention Eisenhower did meet with 14:48 14 minutes, 48 seconds extraterrestrials in 54 twice, once in February and once in July. And when I 14:55 14 minutes, 55 seconds looked up the Eisenhower's uh digitized records, it was possible that this could have been arranged and that there may have been a third meeting in February of 15:04 15 minutes, 4 seconds 55. So when you talk about multiple meetings with maybe another race, this is at least possible. Okay? 15:11 15 minutes, 11 seconds And uh if you were going to form a treaty, you have to have your people draw something up. And this would be like the h upper echelon of the National 15:20 15 minutes, 20 seconds Security Council. maybe someone like director of CIA or your defense uh uh 15:27 15 minutes, 27 seconds secretary and that sort of thing. So uh and they would have to work up the exact wording and uh it would be a secret 15:35 15 minutes, 35 seconds treaty. You wouldn't get Congress to ratify it. But uh you would uh have to hammer it out. So that would require 15:43 15 minutes, 43 seconds more than you know one meeting to say we'll form a treaty now. We've got a treaty and we'll sign it in your presence or something like that. 15:51 15 minutes, 51 seconds Right. So uh as I mentioned that scientists today feel that our galaxy may be filled with planet earth's like 15:58 15 minutes, 58 seconds planets that have developed humanlike beings just like we did. So, it seems more and more plausible that human-like 16:05 16 minutes, 5 seconds beings who are a little more advanced than us and uh we have a space program now and that uh it's not so implausible 16:13 16 minutes, 13 seconds that someday we will fly to other planets that another race had mastered this and they came here and spoke to us 16:21 16 minutes, 21 seconds in English and were familiar with our customs and uh our atomic testing program which means they've been watching us, monitoring us and we've 16:29 16 minutes, 29 seconds heard so many UFO stories and sightings over the years where it seems pretty plausible that yes uh at least one or 16:36 16 minutes, 36 seconds more visiting races are here looking us over and uh they have stayed largely aloof. We can see their craft every now 16:44 16 minutes, 44 seconds and then and to this day you can take out your cell phone and and get video footage of these strange looking things floating about but they don't seem to 16:52 16 minutes, 52 seconds land especially not on the White House lawn right so I think maybe the Eisenhower treaty is still intact. Yeah, I was going to say, so does that mean 17:00 17 minutes that we can because normally we point back to Truman when it kind of when we start to look at when did this all start as far as the secrecy is concerned 17:09 17 minutes, 9 seconds behind the UFO topic and some you know most of the time we point back to Truman as far as you know Roswell and uh the Majestic 12 and how everything started 17:17 17 minutes, 17 seconds there but is it safe to say do you think that even though that might be the genesis of it because we're talking about Roswell and 47 that really the the 17:25 17 minutes, 25 seconds main secrecy that we still deal with today goes back 70 years to Eisenhower because of this supposed treaty that was signed. 17:33 17 minutes, 33 seconds I would think so. And if you listened into to David Grush, the whistleblower, who has come forward, he said, "There's still plenty of regulations. I can only 17:42 17 minutes, 42 seconds give you a little information." Uh, but he did say that it appears as though the Italians recovered a crashed vehicle in the 1930s. 17:52 17 minutes, 52 seconds That's right. and that the American ambassador to the Vatican uh was told this and uh this was relayed to Franklin 18:00 18 minutes Roosevelt and Roosevelt was in charge when several years later one crashed in Cape Gerardo, Missouri, my hometown and 18:08 18 minutes, 8 seconds uh Roosevelt quickly had this scooped up and clamped down and told uh the military informed everyone you're not to 18:15 18 minutes, 15 seconds speak of this ever. This is a matter of national security. And it in my research for the Cape Toronto story, FDR clamped 18:22 18 minutes, 22 seconds down on this uh with uh the secrecy policy right from the start probably because he learned that's what Mousolini 18:30 18 minutes, 30 seconds did in Italy that he was ruthless. He would jail anyone who was talking about this or trying to write about it in the 18:37 18 minutes, 37 seconds 1930s. So, uh, I began finding more information on this that, uh, uh, the Italian one may be quite real and it may 18:45 18 minutes, 45 seconds have been one of the first ever, uh, you know, recovered and scrutinized and Cape Gerardo was the first American crash. 18:53 18 minutes, 53 seconds So, then came Roswell under Truman and then Eisenhower was quite familiar with all 18:59 18 minutes, 59 seconds of this stuff, having been uh, Truman's army chief of staff and in other positions in Truman's government. And 19:07 19 minutes, 7 seconds then uh he was uh quite well informed and urged to have a meeting with some friendly ones. And I think that as I've 19:15 19 minutes, 15 seconds said that he really did, it's not fantasy. Uh the um the aliens did cause 19:21 19 minutes, 21 seconds him uh great cause for concern in February of 54 by doing two things which 19:29 19 minutes, 29 seconds really kind of blew his mind. Would you like to hear about that? 19:33 19 minutes, 33 seconds Sure. Let's let's go. Why not? Because yeah, when we talk about this this meeting, it sounds like I mean from your research, you believe that this really 19:42 19 minutes, 42 seconds did take place. This has always kind of been like one of those, you know, big lore stories in eupfology. So, can we say leading into this next part here, 19:49 19 minutes, 49 seconds can we say that this like confidently this meeting did take place, meetings with Eisenhower? 19:56 19 minutes, 56 seconds I believe so. But that's all the time we have for so no. Uh according to the test pilot who was there, the aliens did two 20:05 20 minutes, 5 seconds things that were extremely impressive but caused Eisenhower great concern. Uh one is the aliens returned to their 20:12 20 minutes, 12 seconds ships and put on a uh air show and showed what they can do with their uh three circular craft and two elongated 20:21 20 minutes, 21 seconds craft is what the descriptions were. and that they took off and buzzed around in the sky and probably circled around and then darted very quickly and stopped on 20:29 20 minutes, 29 seconds a dime and landed silently with no propellers, no uh uh no wings, no exhaust pipes, everything. You know, 20:37 20 minutes, 37 seconds your typical seamless UFO or flying saucer. And everyone was super impressed. Of course, this is advanced 20:45 20 minutes, 45 seconds technology from an advanced race. And when they stepped out of their craft and reapproached the president and his 20:52 20 minutes, 52 seconds bodyguards and the film cameras, they did something that blew everyone's mind. 20:57 20 minutes, 57 seconds They cloaked themselves and went invisible. The test pilot said, "We knew they were there, but we couldn't see them." Uh, which means, I assume that 21:06 21 minutes, 6 seconds the aliens continued to speak or make a little noise. And when they reappeared, I think he said they were in slightly different places on the runway. They 21:14 21 minutes, 14 seconds made themselves uh invisible. and then visible to the naked eye. And it's the crafts like their physical selves, 21:21 21 minutes, 21 seconds they became invisible. The crafts both uh uh I don't know about the craft. Okay. 21:27 21 minutes, 27 seconds Uh that could well be, but it was the beings themselves that showed their ability to uh cloak themselves. And you 21:34 21 minutes, 34 seconds know, it's interesting to note that uh you'll read every once in a while story about how our military is working on cloaking techniques and that I've seen a 21:42 21 minutes, 42 seconds few demonstrations on video. I don't know how valid they are, but some of it is kind of impressive. And it's like in Star Trek when Captain Kirk and Spock 21:51 21 minutes, 51 seconds steal a cloaking device from their enemies because this would really help uh the good guys shield their ship in 21:59 21 minutes, 59 seconds times of battle or, you know, to be able to get away. So, uh, a cloaking device or just the mental ability to, uh, uh, 22:07 22 minutes, 7 seconds rearrange their molecular pattern and reassemble somewhere else caused Eisenhower just terrible worry that he 22:15 22 minutes, 15 seconds said, "We can't have this. Our world is not ready for this." He told them to their face when they reappeared, "We can't have this going on here. 22:24 22 minutes, 24 seconds So, you're going to have to kind of stay away." And I think that's when the treaty was formed because the aliens knew they had kind of Eisenhower over a 22:32 22 minutes, 32 seconds barrel showing him what we can do. And uh they had no malevolent intent. And he said, you know, we'll work out some sort 22:41 22 minutes, 41 seconds of deal, but don't pull this on people around here. You know, show up, speak to them, cloak yourself, reappear somewhere else. It would freak people out. And 22:49 22 minutes, 49 seconds maybe to this day it might. I think we're much more conscious of aliens through TV shows, movies, books, the the 22:57 22 minutes, 57 seconds new Disclosure movie this summer with Steven Spielberg, Close Encounters, ET, all that kind of stuff. Even Robin Williams, Mark from Orc. 23:06 23 minutes, 6 seconds Yeah. 23:06 23 minutes, 6 seconds From the TV show, as silly as that may have been. Or my favorite Martian with Ray Walston. Uh and you know um it's a 23:16 23 minutes, 16 seconds part of the national thought now international that people are seeing these things talking about these things reading about them and we kind of accept 23:24 23 minutes, 24 seconds now that yeah we're we're being visited and the government a few years ago if you saw a 60 Minutes program pretty much 23:31 23 minutes, 31 seconds admitted you know these things are going on and we can't explain them and uh people didn't react too badly to that 23:38 23 minutes, 38 seconds and we want to know more. Yeah, and time has times have changed, right? Like like you said, and that's why I believe anyway, one of the reasons why the disclosure movement has picked up so 23:46 23 minutes, 46 seconds much over the past, you know, probably seven to eight years. Um, there was one thing to kind of finish off on the Eisenhower bit before we get to Richard 23:53 23 minutes, 53 seconds Nixon, because that's another one of my favorites that you wrote about. Um, at the end of his presidency, in his farewell address, he spoke about 24:01 24 minutes, 1 second famously about the military-industrial complex and how you need to be aware of the military-industrial complex. That 24:09 24 minutes, 9 seconds said, what do you think he knew about that and how it might play in to what he was, you know, aware of when it came to 24:17 24 minutes, 17 seconds extraterrestrials and this advanced technology? 24:20 24 minutes, 20 seconds Uh, he's deceased now, but one of the sources I researched was Brigadier General Steve Lubkin, who said Eisenhower did speak of 24:28 24 minutes, 28 seconds extraterrestrials in his presence. And Lovekin said that the military-industrial complex reference in his farewell speech was a kind of 24:37 24 minutes, 37 seconds oblique reference to how government can make some decisions, but we're getting the military super 24:44 24 minutes, 44 seconds powerful intelligence uh personnel and the industrial complex and they're working together and they're kind of taking away power and we can't have that 24:53 24 minutes, 53 seconds in this country. And Eisenhower should know being an old army veteran who was commander and chief and a four-star 25:00 25 minutes general before that nobody would know better than him. So that could well be as this brigadier general said his way 25:09 25 minutes, 9 seconds of mentioning that things are getting out of control of the government and that private interest is taking over and 25:16 25 minutes, 16 seconds you know uh harnessing this technology uh for good or evil or you know everyday products or some sort of private agenda. 25:26 25 minutes, 26 seconds So Eisenhower still could not bring himself to say that we have been visited. There was talk uh from one 25:33 25 minutes, 33 seconds source who wrote a letter and said uh I've learned that Eisenhower was indeed at um this Edwards Air Force base during 25:42 25 minutes, 42 seconds his golf vacation in February of 54 and that they were contemplating a national broadcast to reveal it all in the middle 25:50 25 minutes, 50 seconds of May of 54. But he was overruled by, you know, National Security Council and some of his worried generals. And so 25:58 25 minutes, 58 seconds Eisenhower kept his mouth shut and I think it's been pretty uh clamped down on to this day. And as you mentioned, uh 26:08 26 minutes, 8 seconds Richard Nixon was Eisenhower's loyal vice president for eight years. And I believe at some point he was clued in. 26:16 26 minutes, 16 seconds Uh Nixon was in Washington DC during Eisenhower's golf vacation. I don't think he was made aware of the situation 26:22 26 minutes, 22 seconds at the time, but uh he became more trusted as the uh first years of the term the first term went by and was 26:30 26 minutes, 30 seconds eventually entrusted with the extraterrestrial visitation issue. Uh, there was one source that says I worked 26:37 26 minutes, 37 seconds with the CIA and I was present at a briefing for Eisenhower and Nixon and someone from the FBI and a couple other 26:46 26 minutes, 46 seconds military personnel and he said uh Nixon's face was just like right like what that this was maybe his first 26:53 26 minutes, 53 seconds briefing that uh we are being visited and Nixon knew Phil well especially by the time he ran in 1960 and then became 27:01 27 minutes, 1 second president in ' 68. So, what I find interesting too, Paul, is that you've named a few different people. Some names I've never actually heard of of uh intel 27:09 27 minutes, 9 seconds agents or, you know, military people who say that they were witnesses to this and that there's a video as well. So, you know, it's not this isn't just some 27:18 27 minutes, 18 seconds folklore story. These are direct witnesses who say they spoke Eisenhower spoke to them about it or they were at 27:24 27 minutes, 24 seconds these meetings. So there are actual, you know, direct testimony to these meetings that Eisenhower had in his knowledge of 27:32 27 minutes, 32 seconds aliens. I mean, that's I don't think that can be overstated really because that's probably something that isn't brought up enough. 27:38 27 minutes, 38 seconds Bits and pieces leak out. People do talk. They do whisper or they do get um uh together with a UFO book author or 27:47 27 minutes, 47 seconds somebody. And of course, at surface, at face value, you think, "Oh, this guy's nuts. The president didn't meet with 27:54 27 minutes, 54 seconds aliens. It sounds uh at first ridiculous and then the more you read, the more you learn, you find out it was very possible 28:02 28 minutes, 2 seconds and I think it did happen. Uh there's Dr. Michael Salah, you're familiar with his work. He had a whole like 30page 28:09 28 minutes, 9 seconds paper on various sources that he accumulated that said it did happen. Uh one was a man who was working on a house 28:17 28 minutes, 17 seconds near Palm Springs and he says, "I can't believe the media didn't cover this this visit by Eisenhower on the base. I was 28:23 28 minutes, 23 seconds there and uh I heard and saw some of this going on that Eisenhower arrived at night during his golf adation. And 28:31 28 minutes, 31 seconds another was a uh like an officer who said that uh he heard uh there was a a 28:38 28 minutes, 38 seconds secret visit by Eisenhower. There were extraterrestriers involved and uh most of the base personnel were kicked out of 28:45 28 minutes, 45 seconds the base to set up this and when they came back they were told to get their personal belongings and beat it for a few days that they were not really 28:53 28 minutes, 53 seconds allowed back in. Uh I guess this was during the time of Eisenhower's remaining golf vacation in Palm Springs in case he came back or wanted to know 29:02 29 minutes, 2 seconds what's you know going on uh as they assessed all the information. 29:07 29 minutes, 7 seconds Yeah. So that uh uh all of these stories start to mesh together, right? That uh this Edwards Air Force base which had 29:16 29 minutes, 16 seconds the leading uh aerodynamic uh technology uh assessment center, I forget the exact title, flight research center, I think 29:24 29 minutes, 24 seconds it was on the base. So this is where you would uh bring aliens to if you wanted it uh appreciated by professionals and 29:32 29 minutes, 32 seconds scientists. And there's one source who claimed that we were gifted a craft from this meeting. And uh I put together a 29:39 29 minutes, 39 seconds few eyewitness accounts that say that this craft was still in a hanger as of at least the 1960s. Some guy said I 29:46 29 minutes, 46 seconds wandered off uh away from where I was supposed to be going. And I wandered into this hanger and I looked in and oh my gosh, there's, you know, this 29:54 29 minutes, 54 seconds perfectly beautiful alien craft. and I was hustled out of there pretty quick and it matched the description of one of these craft that came down during the 30:01 30 minutes, 1 second Eisenhower era. So I think if we were gifted this uh it would have been something we would have been studying to see if we can duplicate through reverse engineering. 30:11 30 minutes, 11 seconds Right. 30:11 30 minutes, 11 seconds Another source claimed that um as he heard it the craft were so lightweight the aliens invited Eisenhower to go on 30:20 30 minutes, 20 seconds board. he turned him down, but that the men around him were encouraged to just try lifting it up. And they did. It was very lightweight and they were able to 30:28 30 minutes, 28 seconds pick it up. You know, it was not uh some sort of heavy uh jet craft like our own uh uh very heavy engines and you know, 30:37 30 minutes, 37 seconds the metal that we use. So again, very advanced technology, super lightweight, uh could fly um much much faster just 30:46 30 minutes, 46 seconds dart about than anything we had. And again, this caused Eisenhower grave concern. And you know, he was looking out for the best interests of America. 30:56 30 minutes, 56 seconds Didn't want to touch off a panic and be the president responsible for maybe a stock market crash, people quitting college, quitting their jobs, wanting to 31:05 31 minutes, 5 seconds go to California and see the aliens or something like that. And uh so he probably made the only move that was 31:12 31 minutes, 12 seconds reasonable and necessary to set up future uh landings and such in contact with him 31:20 31 minutes, 20 seconds way out in the Nevada desert where no one is around and and do it in super secret. It might have even been this um 31:27 31 minutes, 27 seconds close to this S4 that is allegedly part of Area 51. I won't go into Bob Lazar too much, but there's a few people that 31:35 31 minutes, 35 seconds have said that we do have u uh alien craft that have either crashed or been shot down or gifted to us and that we 31:43 31 minutes, 43 seconds are working on reverse engineering. Uh I can't really speak to that, but it sounds at least plausible. 31:50 31 minutes, 50 seconds Yeah, and there's a lot of corroborating stories with this and and testimony obviously. Um, real quick, last thing on that because I do want to get to the 31:57 31 minutes, 57 seconds Nixon story as well, but just the video portion has really caught my attention cuz I'd never heard that there was video of this. So, one camera gets destroyed 32:06 32 minutes, 6 seconds reportedly from some type of frequency or interference from the craft, but one uh continues to record. So, is it I 32:13 32 minutes, 13 seconds mean, is it safe to say that this entire meeting, at least the first meeting that we know of, was fully recorded and that this tape exists somewhere of Eisenhower media with aliens? Supposedly it does. 32:24 32 minutes, 24 seconds Uh this reporter for the Vatican, uh Christian Barbato, I think his name, said that his source at the Vatican says 32:31 32 minutes, 31 seconds there really is a copy of this footage that the Vatican has it. It's super secret and that uh one is black and 32:38 32 minutes, 38 seconds white and one is color. And when uh you know, I told you about the aerial display that the aliens put on, they flitted past the Air Force hanger a 32:46 32 minutes, 46 seconds little too close and it shorted out one of the cameras. 32:49 32 minutes, 49 seconds So that film ends abruptly, he said. He said uh that he had not seen the footage but the his source uh that he took seriously said he had seen the footage. 33:00 33 minutes So, uh, there was a movie made called The 11th Green a few years ago, an independent film of, uh, The Eisenhower 33:08 33 minutes, 8 seconds Story, and, uh, their main artwork shows Eisenhower standing at the lip of this Air Force hanger talking to these 33:15 33 minutes, 15 seconds human-like aliens. And in the background, there's a like a newsreel cameraman recording all of this because that was his information and his research as well, that it was recorded. 33:25 33 minutes, 25 seconds So, you would hope that someday somebody will hack that footage or from the government leak the footage or just release it and say, "Yeah, this 33:34 33 minutes, 34 seconds happened." And we know that President Trump has given the order to uh open all these files. And I'm still mildly 33:41 33 minutes, 41 seconds hopeful that something will be released, but so far we've seen nothing. And from what I hear and read, a lot of people in military intelligence and such defense 33:50 33 minutes, 50 seconds industry, they're not going to leak or show us anything. They are resisting this big time. Yeah. So that's depressing. We're still not trusted with even uh the Cape Gardo story of 1941. 34:02 34 minutes, 2 seconds That that would be a good place to start and Roswell and then move your way up to Eisenhower's contact [clears throat] and then Nixon, which we can get to. 34:13 34 minutes, 13 seconds Yes, exactly. 34:14 34 minutes, 14 seconds Yeah, absolutely. Because that, you know, we talk about the military connection. It actually directly involves uh military down here in South 34:22 34 minutes, 22 seconds Florida and Nixon and his good friend Jackie Gleason. They love to play golf together. Um this is again one of those stories that just have so many elements 34:30 34 minutes, 30 seconds to it and different witnesses and different testimony including uh Gleon's ex-wife who said he was never the same after it. So I guess the story goes just 34:39 34 minutes, 39 seconds in layman's terms. Nixon says to Jackie Gleason, I know you're interested in this and I'm going to show you some aliens. I mean, what what what happened here? 34:48 34 minutes, 48 seconds Yeah. Nixon and Gleon were both uh public figures who persspired a lot and were conservatives and loved to golf 34:56 34 minutes, 56 seconds together. And this went on as far back as the 50s when Jackie became obsessed with UFOs like like no one in the 35:04 35 minutes, 4 seconds country. Jackie had money to burn. He had uh up to 14 million a year in his income from TV, movie, and record 35:13 35 minutes, 13 seconds albums. So he started off uh offering like 50 then a h 100,000 to anyone who 35:20 35 minutes, 20 seconds could bring him physical evidence proof of extraterrestrials visiting earth. He would appear on the long john nabel radio show in New York 35:29 35 minutes, 29 seconds City late at night and talk about aliens and I've heard the recordings online. Uh the the sound quality is poor, but you 35:36 35 minutes, 36 seconds can hear this is Jackie Gleason, and I wanted to check in on this story. And uh I don't believe in that story or this story. Jackie was discerning. He didn't 35:45 35 minutes, 45 seconds believe everything he was told. But uh according to his biographers, he would call up other UFO researchers. He would 35:53 35 minutes, 53 seconds call up UFO experiencers or people who reported sightings and quiz them intently. He bought up every book and 36:00 36 minutes newsletter on the paranormal, especially flying saucers. And uh he had a huge library of thousands of books which have 36:09 36 minutes, 9 seconds been donated now to the University of Miami. You can go down there and see that. Stephen can maybe at their reading room and see all that 36:17 36 minutes, 17 seconds Jackie collected. He just was wild privately about the paranormal. And on the honeymooners in the 50s, he uh had 36:25 36 minutes, 25 seconds to go to a costume party. So he puts together, Ralph Craden puts together his own costume and declares, "I am the man 36:32 36 minutes, 32 seconds from space." He literally presented himself as an alien for a little bit on his own TV show. And it was all for 36:40 36 minutes, 40 seconds comedy's sake, but this shows the level of how he was willing to risk his reputation. People 36:47 36 minutes, 47 seconds might have thought of him as, you know, kooky or out there as he gone over the edge in the conservative 50s when you didn't really talk about these sorts of 36:55 36 minutes, 55 seconds things. So Jackie was very privately into it and once in a while he let slip on this or that. And so he built, it's 37:03 37 minutes, 3 seconds hard to believe, but you can see pictures of it to this day. He built a UFO house outside of New York City in Westchester 37:11 37 minutes, 11 seconds County. Uh and he made it in the shape of a spaceship with big bay windows on the edge of a cliff so you could look 37:19 37 minutes, 19 seconds out and feel like you're riding in a spaceship. And they surrounded the house with smaller buildings. He called the main one the mother ship and his garage 37:28 37 minutes, 28 seconds the scout ship and that uh he invited some friends over and according to one real estate magazine article online, 37:36 37 minutes, 36 seconds Vice President Nixon was one of his guests in 1959. Okay. 37:40 37 minutes, 40 seconds Uh to to the spaceship house. So this set the stage. Jackie loved golfing so much he quit uh his job at CBS to move 37:50 37 minutes, 50 seconds to Miami and start a new show for CBS from Miami Beach. And he uh would golf 37:57 37 minutes, 57 seconds almost every day. And uh he sold his UFO house to CBS which rented it out to various people over the years including 38:05 38 minutes, 5 seconds David Bowie who was also very privately obsessed with aliens. He said he saw them in England in the 1960s and he 38:13 38 minutes, 13 seconds wanted Jackie Gleason's house which supposedly had um uh some Tesla 38:20 38 minutes, 20 seconds telescopes and uh Tesla coils and just you know the whole bit. David Bowie and Jackie Gleason. That's a very strange 38:29 38 minutes, 29 seconds combination when you think about it, but they probably bonded over one thing. But anyway, uh Jackie uh took up living at 38:37 38 minutes, 37 seconds Inverary Golf Course in Miami. And every time Nixon would come down for a little golf vacation, they got together. And 38:44 38 minutes, 44 seconds you know, Jackie had to pepper him constantly. Can you tell me about these stories? Can you show me the proof? And he probably for years went on and Nixon 38:53 38 minutes, 53 seconds didn't give him a thing. However, by January of 73, Nixon's tail was caught on a crack. his personal employees at 39:03 39 minutes, 3 seconds the White House had broken into the Watergate Hotel and got caught and they were threatening to talk. And at that 39:09 39 minutes, 9 seconds point, Nixon thought, I need money. I need to raise hush money to keep these burglars quiet so this all blows over. 39:18 39 minutes, 18 seconds They need to pay for their lawyers. They need to pay for their families. They've lost their jobs. They have no income. 39:23 39 minutes, 23 seconds And according to the White House tapes, Nixon bugged himself. Nixon's really upset in January of 73. where am I going 39:31 39 minutes, 31 seconds to get this money? This hush money, we're gonna need more than a million dollars. And uh by um like March, uh 39:39 39 minutes, 39 seconds he's very calm about this and he says on tape, "Oh, we've got that money. I know where we can get our hands on it. It's not a problem." So Jackie had money to 39:47 39 minutes, 47 seconds burn. He had this burning desire to see evidence of extraterrestrials. I think Nixon tapped into that at last and 39:56 39 minutes, 56 seconds decided to risk national security concerns by letting his friend go with him to Homestead Air Force Base and see 40:03 40 minutes, 3 seconds the proof. And this is what Jackie told his wife when he got home and he was ashenfaced, shook up. He was really 40:11 40 minutes, 11 seconds emotionally rattled that he'd been waiting his whole life for this and he finally got to see the goods. I think he paid up to maybe a million dollars to Nixon to give him that money he needed. 40:22 40 minutes, 22 seconds Now, uh, I don't have any hard proof, you know, like in a document, but Nixon utilized a lawyer named Herb 40:29 40 minutes, 29 seconds Combach, who went to prison for distributing cash to the Watergate burglars. And according to biographers, no one to this day can figure out where 40:38 40 minutes, 38 seconds that cash came from, where did all this money come from. And Jackie also used Herm Herb Combach in previous dealings 40:46 40 minutes, 46 seconds when uh ironing out details of the honeymooners uh royalties for running in repeat. So they shared the same lawyer. 40:54 40 minutes, 54 seconds Wow. 40:54 40 minutes, 54 seconds And they golfed together. They were close buddies. Nixon was uh a hero practically to Jackie who supported him publicly. And so you know you put two 41:04 41 minutes, 4 seconds and two together and you get four. So Jackie was taken to Homestead Air Force Base. Now, how did he get there? Uh, 41:11 41 minutes, 11 seconds this story that Nixon showed up in a car alone at Jackie's doors. Nonsense. 41:17 41 minutes, 17 seconds Yeah, they would have been like over 30 miles driving in the dark alone without uh Secret Service. However, 41:25 41 minutes, 25 seconds Jackie alwaysard though, right? That's that's what the story that's always been out there. So, I'm glad you bring that up because so the real story is then what? 41:33 41 minutes, 33 seconds Because we always heard about how Nixon came to Jackie Gleason's house and knocks on the door and says, "Hey, you want to see some aliens?" and they go to the base of each other. 41:41 41 minutes, 41 seconds I don't believe that's quite correct. 41:43 41 minutes, 43 seconds However, Nixon arrived at Jackie's house that very day, Monday, February 19th. 41:50 41 minutes, 50 seconds Remember that date? The exact date of the Eisenhower encounter 19 years earlier. 41:55 41 minutes, 55 seconds Uh, and it's in the news. You can see the the little photos of Jackie and Nixon together at a charity golf course 42:02 42 minutes, 2 seconds uh charity golf tournament that Jackie was running on the Infirary golf course. 42:07 42 minutes, 7 seconds Nixon stepped out of his helicopter that day. Jackie rode up in a u golf cart to greet him. And I talked to a Nixon aid 42:15 42 minutes, 15 seconds who's still alive and said, "I thought for sure I was going to see Jackie Gleason beheaded live on camera." This was recorded like by CBS. They were 42:23 42 minutes, 23 seconds recording the golf tournament for broadcast, but Jackie managed to duck down low enough to avoid the blades of the uh the helicopter. And he took Nixon 42:32 42 minutes, 32 seconds over to a bank of microphones. Nixon spoke to the press with Jackie standing right nearby, the proud host of the golf 42:39 42 minutes, 39 seconds tournament. And then after it was over, Jackie drove uh Nixon back to this chopper pad on the golf course right 42:46 42 minutes, 46 seconds behind Jackie's house. And the president took off, which means Nixon's pilot had the logistics and the statistics on how 42:55 42 minutes, 55 seconds to get there and land safely. And he pulled it off that afternoon. I think Nixon sent that pilot back that night. 43:02 43 minutes, 2 seconds Uh Jackie disappeared from his house, came back later all shook up, and Jackie's wife said, I asked him, "Where 43:10 43 minutes, 10 seconds have you been? What's happened to you?" He said, "Nixon showed me the proof for extraterrestrials at Homestead Air Force Base." So that would have been about a 43:18 43 minutes, 18 seconds 10 to 15 minute helicopter ride. Whether Nixon was on board when uh uh the helicopter sat down or not, I don't 43:27 43 minutes, 27 seconds know. He may have probably called and said, "I'm sending it that chopper back for you. I want to show you something. 43:33 43 minutes, 33 seconds Get on board and come. So Jackie flew to Homestead Air Force Base and there was Nixon and um according to Jackie's wife 43:42 43 minutes, 42 seconds who recounted what Jackie told her that very night. Uh Nixon and uh Jackie had a 43:48 43 minutes, 48 seconds bodyguard. Uh a few of them surrounded themselves with guards and were taken in a vehicle across the base to an isolated 43:56 43 minutes, 56 seconds building uh that was kind of like a a lab or a morg and in they went and Nixon 44:03 44 minutes, 3 seconds showed him four alien bodies stretched out on four examining tables. Uh they were quite dead and Jackie said they 44:11 44 minutes, 11 seconds looked like maybe they had been involved or were going to be involved. Uh they match the exact description of the 1955 44:20 44 minutes, 20 seconds Hopkinsville, Kentucky attack on the Sutton family. Remember that story? Sure. 44:26 44 minutes, 26 seconds Yeah. They had big pointy ears, big bug eyes. They were dwarfish. Uh odd skin tone like maybe greenish gray or 44:34 44 minutes, 34 seconds something like that. and that uh they were creepy looking of course and that Nixon allowed him to get up close and 44:42 44 minutes, 42 seconds take a look. So uh whether those were the same exact race, I can't say absolutely for sure, but I'd be willing 44:49 44 minutes, 49 seconds to bet. And uh Jackie got his wish. He got his million dollars worth, I'm pretty sure. And uh it really shook him 44:58 44 minutes, 58 seconds up. There's another story that says after their inspection of the bodies, 45:04 45 minutes, 4 seconds uh, Nixon took Jackie to another part of the base, an Air Force hanger, and there 45:11 45 minutes, 11 seconds he was allowed to review this silver spaceship, and it was a perfectly intact craft, and it was kind of alive. It was 45:20 45 minutes, 20 seconds being tethered or held down by cables according to this source and uh you know it was up in the uh in the air within 45:28 45 minutes, 28 seconds this Air Force hanger and and Jackie got himself you know again his money's worth and Nixon may have told him you know 45:36 45 minutes, 36 seconds this may be the craft that these creatures came down. I don't know. I'm speculating what Nixon would have told him but supposedly the hanger is 45:44 45 minutes, 44 seconds something according to the source a building that you could see from the the highway. uh it had to keep its doors 45:50 45 minutes, 50 seconds closed, you know. So, uh if you want to go there to this day, it would be kind of fruitless partly because, as we 45:58 45 minutes, 58 seconds discussed before we went on the air, Homestead Air Force Base is a very uh high-tech and high security base. But 46:05 46 minutes, 5 seconds it's also been wiped out by a hurricane in the 1990s, I think it was, and rebuilt completely. It's not what it was. It's a different base now. 46:16 46 minutes, 16 seconds So, uh you can't Yeah. 46:19 46 minutes, 19 seconds Yeah. That building then that hanger where the craft was was supposedly that's did did that get kind of destroyed during Hurricane Andrew? 46:25 46 minutes, 25 seconds Hurricane Andrew 1992 is I think what you're referring to. Is that is that I don't know for sure but that could have been the case or it was rebuilt or 46:34 46 minutes, 34 seconds they just, you know, went ahead and tore the whole thing down and started again from scratch. I I'm not an expert on that, but I do know it got badly 46:43 46 minutes, 43 seconds flattened. All the homestead area was badly damaged by this hurricane. Yeah. 46:48 46 minutes, 48 seconds And uh so Nixon had a uh a home in Key Biscane and he went there like dozens of 46:55 46 minutes, 55 seconds times during his presidency and he would use Homestead Air Force Base for Air Force One to land, take a chopper 47:02 47 minutes, 2 seconds himself, Marine One, over to this chopper pad behind his Kiscane home. And he flitted back and forth all the time 47:10 47 minutes, 10 seconds by helicopter. So, it seems very logical to believe he sent that chopper pilot over to Jackie's helicopter pad right 47:18 47 minutes, 18 seconds behind his house on the Inverary Golf Course to take him back and forth that night. 47:23 47 minutes, 23 seconds So, uh Nixon was familiar with Homestead Air Force Base, used it a lot. 47:29 47 minutes, 29 seconds President Kennedy used it at times when he went to Palm Beach, maybe West Palm Beach. You may have seen the Kennedy uh 47:37 47 minutes, 37 seconds compound. I think they sold it. it no longer belongs to the Kennedy family but uh very famous uh in that region. 47:45 47 minutes, 45 seconds So that Homestead was very much a used by a president type of base. So that Nixon knew what was going on there. 47:54 47 minutes, 54 seconds And it's important to know that by February of 73 when this uh occurred, Nixon was the only president left on the 48:01 48 minutes, 1 second face of the earth from United States of America. Uh Johnson Truman had recently passed on. Eisenhower was dead. Kennedy 48:09 48 minutes, 9 seconds and on and on. All past presidents were dead. Jay Garoover was dead. Alan Dulles of the CIA was dead. All the old-timers 48:17 48 minutes, 17 seconds who might have given him some static over showing Jackie Gleason a civilian uh extraterrestrial bodies or craft, they were all gone. And that left Nixon 48:26 48 minutes, 26 seconds king of the hill, free to act as he wished. They used to call it the Imperial Presidency under King Richard because he just seemed to do whatever he 48:34 48 minutes, 34 seconds wanted. He had won re-election in November of 72 in a landslide. So he was feeling uh like he could do anything he wanted and he did. 48:43 48 minutes, 43 seconds That's interesting. No, it I've never actually considered that point before about how it's not like today where you still have a lot of the elements say 48:50 48 minutes, 50 seconds from even the Reagan era where you know we started talking about really bringing these things up with Star War with the Star Wars program or even with you know 49:00 49 minutes uh the Bush and the CIA and all these different things. So Pompeo as you know CIA a lot of these people had these 49:07 49 minutes, 7 seconds maybe secrets and traditions passed down and you have a lot of former presidents who are still with us currently during the current presidency. So it's a very 49:14 49 minutes, 14 seconds interesting um point to bring up that I never considered that he was kind of like king of the hill at that point and also something to think about that I 49:22 49 minutes, 22 seconds think is really important when people say well how could this be true? Number one, the point you bring up, Paul, about um Nixon's helicopter landing in that 49:30 49 minutes, 30 seconds vicinity around Gleon's home is very plausible, more plausible than Nixon pulling up in his car and saying, "Let's go." You know, we're going to see 49:38 49 minutes, 38 seconds aliens. That scenario of a helicopter landing at Gleon's home is much more plausible because they knew where to go, 49:46 49 minutes, 46 seconds like you said, from, you know, the previous golf tournament. And then just fly to Homestead. Nixon knows the area. And then number two is follow the money. 49:55 49 minutes, 55 seconds Right. So you mentioned how again another detail I wasn't really aware of that he needed the money for his his guys who were involved with Watergate to 50:03 50 minutes, 3 seconds kind of pay out that hush money. So why not ask your good buddy Jackie Gleason. 50:07 50 minutes, 7 seconds Now maybe that's circumstantial. Maybe some people would complain about that. 50:11 50 minutes, 11 seconds But it is very interesting to point out that they have the same lawyer and that there's this history with this lawyer who paid these guys. You can kind of 50:19 50 minutes, 19 seconds connect the dots there. It's it's very very intriguing. I didn't know a lot of those those details about the story. 50:25 50 minutes, 25 seconds Yeah, it starts to make more and more sense and seem logical and not so wacky just like the Eisenhower tale when you start piecing together all the parts of 50:33 50 minutes, 33 seconds the puzzle. Uh after my book came out in 2023, someone did a story online about the Nixon story and said that Jackie 50:42 50 minutes, 42 seconds told some Hollywood producer people, uh Nixon showed me the proof. And they said, "How do you know aliens are visiting here?" and he repeated, "Nixon 50:50 50 minutes, 50 seconds showed me the proof and that's all he would say." Uh, various UFO researchers kept contacting him or trying to contact him over the years and he would say, "No 50:58 50 minutes, 58 seconds comment." He could have said, "That's a lot of nonsense. Get out of here. I don't want to talk about this lie." But he never 51:05 51 minutes, 5 seconds denigrated the story. Never said it was a lie. His wife said this uh and it became an article in the National Enquirer and uh it was never disputed. 51:16 51 minutes, 16 seconds And so Jackie privately told some people uh from show business uh and including one may have been Bert Reynolds. One 51:25 51 minutes, 25 seconds source said that Bert Reynolds was hosting a barbecue in Palm Beach Jupiter area. 51:31 51 minutes, 31 seconds Yeah, he was that he invited Jackie who was driven up in his car. Jackie didn't drive anywhere. He was a terrible driver 51:38 51 minutes, 38 seconds and he liked to tipple. So uh Jackie will would be uh given a limo driver everywhere he went as of uh like the 51:46 51 minutes, 46 seconds early 60s onward. So that uh Jackie showed up at this party at this barbecue at Bert Reynolds house and mentioned a 51:54 51 minutes, 54 seconds US president showed me the bodies of extraterrestrials and uh someone who was there or maybe Bert Reynolds himself 52:02 52 minutes, 2 seconds passed this along. So, uh, there again, uh, show business people may have been trusted, especially if you poured a few drinks into Jackie. 52:11 52 minutes, 11 seconds I think he had somewhat of a cast iron stomach, but he was so used to it. Uh, but, uh, you know, alcohol can loosen 52:19 52 minutes, 19 seconds anyone's lips and say some things. Now, recently, here's another good story. Roger Stone, an aid to President Nixon, said a few 52:28 52 minutes, 28 seconds weeks ago, Nixon told me he showed Jackie Gleason the evidence that we had for aliens. It's a complete confirmation 52:37 52 minutes, 37 seconds of what I put in my book that Nixon had a few drinks in him one day while he was visiting Miami. Got together with Roger 52:44 52 minutes, 44 seconds Stone and told him, you know, I showed uh the evidence for aliens at an Air Force base. 52:52 52 minutes, 52 seconds Sorry, Paul. you just broke up and that was like a super important part you just mentioned. So can you just mention again from the beginning about Roger Stone, right? Uh recently Roger Stone, an aid 53:01 53 minutes, 1 second to Richard Nixon came forward and said uh at some point I was having drinks with Richard Nixon. Nixon's tongue was a 53:08 53 minutes, 8 seconds little loosened and he admitted that he did show Jackie Gleason the evidence for extraterrestrials at an Air Force base. 53:16 53 minutes, 16 seconds Now, Roger Stone is risking, I guess, his reputation or something by making this claim, but he came forward and said, "This is what Nixon told me that 53:25 53 minutes, 25 seconds he did reveal to Jackie Gleason." So, there's another source that says this story is quite real. and uh the the 53:33 53 minutes, 33 seconds helicopter pads, the choppers, the Air Force base, uh Nixon, King of the Hill, uh Beverly Gleason's story, uh when 53:42 53 minutes, 42 seconds Jackie came home, said he was so shook up he began to drink more than drink more than usual, smoke more than usual, 53:49 53 minutes, 49 seconds couldn't get to sleep. Uh I looked it up and Jackie almost stopped making movies for a few years. He only made one TV 53:56 53 minutes, 56 seconds show in 1973, A Honeymooners Special. uh he stopped making all of his albums. 54:02 54 minutes, 2 seconds It's as if he was kind of so badly traumatized by finally seeing the truth that he kind of dropped out of society, 54:10 54 minutes, 10 seconds so to speak, for a while and then he came back with a vengeance as sheriff Buford D. Justice in Smokeoky and the Bandit and that's how he knew Bert Reynolds. 54:19 54 minutes, 19 seconds There you go. Right. There's there's that connection. What do you think it was, Paul? Because we I've heard some things like that before when it comes you talk about Roger Stone as as a Nixon 54:27 54 minutes, 27 seconds aid. There's been other stories about aids from Reagan or Carter's time who were supposedly in meetings or told about these things and they were similar 54:35 54 minutes, 35 seconds to Jackie Gleason. They couldn't sleep, their lives were changed, they were despondent. What do you think it was? Or maybe you were told at some point at 54:43 54 minutes, 43 seconds least a semblance. Aside from just seeing, and I know not to make it sound trit, but aside from just seeing alien bodies with these big elf-like ears and 54:51 54 minutes, 51 seconds these big eyes, was there something else you think that he was told a secret and origin that would just shake him up like that? 54:58 54 minutes, 58 seconds I've got a source. I can't give you his name, but he said, "Paul, I didn't believe your Nixon story at first. I 55:06 55 minutes, 6 seconds checked with my sources in the military intelligence and the media, and they said the story is true." Now, that's like secondhand hearsay, but he said 55:15 55 minutes, 15 seconds that um Nixon was there on February 19th because he too met with an extraterrestrial and this may have been 55:23 55 minutes, 23 seconds something Jackie witnessed that really shook him up, a live alien. Now, it's just a, you know, a secondhand claim and it's it's very speculative, but that's 55:32 55 minutes, 32 seconds why on February 19th, the exact anniversary of the forming of this treaty that Eisenhower did uh in 54, 55:41 55 minutes, 41 seconds February 19 of 73 was the 19th anniversary, and Nixon had to be at an Air Force base to meet with someone to 55:49 55 minutes, 49 seconds update this treaty, you know, amend it or change it or end it or extend it. Uh but that's no coincidence that they both 55:57 55 minutes, 57 seconds occurred at night at an Air Force base alien matters on February 19th. So 56:05 56 minutes, 5 seconds Jackie may have seen more than what he told his wife, you know, uh that he told her some things, but he may not have 56:12 56 minutes, 12 seconds told her everything. So uh and then Beverly Gleason herself may not have told everything. She gave a couple of 56:20 56 minutes, 20 seconds interviews and then she kind of clammed up. She never wavered. She never said, "Oh, I was just kidding." Or, "Uh, you know, that was a lie I made up." She 56:29 56 minutes, 29 seconds said she she stuck by her story. She doesn't she dare to change it. And Jackie told me this and that's that. So, 56:36 56 minutes, 36 seconds uh, the fact that he was emotionally rattled as, as you say, indicates something maybe even more than these 56:43 56 minutes, 43 seconds dead que queer looking alien beings from another planet stretched out on uh, examining tables in a kind of morg. uh 56:52 56 minutes, 52 seconds for maybe military scientists to examine uh and maybe a spaceship that he saw too. 56:57 56 minutes, 57 seconds Maybe something like that. There's one question I want to ask you about the spaceship and I know we're going a little bit long. Is that okay? Do you still have a few minutes? Sure. Take as much time as you want. 57:06 57 minutes, 6 seconds But something fun story. 57:08 57 minutes, 8 seconds Oh, it is something just shook me. We're talking about Jackie Gleason being shook. 57:13 57 minutes, 13 seconds I don't know what this means, but as we're talking about February 19th, um the the Eisenhower meeting um in Palm 57:22 57 minutes, 22 seconds Springs, the first meeting, um Jackie Gleason with Richard Nixon, February 19th, is that's 1974, right? And then we 57:29 57 minutes, 29 seconds have oh uh uh okay to backtrack real quick I checked Nixon's digitized records and uh for February 19th 1973 he is at home in 57:39 57 minutes, 39 seconds his key biscane house and his records ended at about 8:00 that night and there's no mention of when he retired. 57:45 57 minutes, 45 seconds Then it says a document has been removed from this file and they literally say this in his files 57:52 57 minutes, 52 seconds and and the schedule picks up the next morning where Nixon uh does some routine things and he takes off I think for South Carolina. So he left the next day. 58:03 58 minutes, 3 seconds So what was this document that we are not allowed to see that just happens to be from that night? What a coincidence. 58:10 58 minutes, 10 seconds So I had the documents Yeah. Nixon's documents from one year later, February of 74. He also went in midFebruary down 58:18 58 minutes, 18 seconds to Kiscane and some of his time was not recorded and others uh it's missing. Uh 58:26 58 minutes, 26 seconds he did get back to Washington by February 19th, but it would have been the time of the end of a 20-year period 58:33 58 minutes, 33 seconds from Eisenhower's original uh alleged agreement or treaty, February of 74. And 58:40 58 minutes, 40 seconds it's very mysterious. Here was Nixon in the Kiscane area and he could have been up to more things where his records were 58:48 58 minutes, 48 seconds sanitized and you're not allowed to hear or read or see what he was up to uh one year after the uh Nixon Gleason 58:57 58 minutes, 57 seconds encounter. Who knows? Maybe Jackie went back. Uh but you know, those records were kept from us. And in the intervening uh one-year period, uh Jackie split up from Beverly Gleason. 59:08 59 minutes, 8 seconds Their marriage was kaput and they ended up divorced and uh he remarried u I think Marilyn Taylor or got married to Marilyn Taylor and she's passed on. 59:19 59 minutes, 19 seconds Jackie's passed on. Yeah. 59:22 59 minutes, 22 seconds Jackie's children don't speak out because they were not close. Jackie was a great great entertainer but he was not a very good father frankly. Well, and 59:31 59 minutes, 31 seconds and just just to go with what you're saying about February 19th though, the reason why I brought this up and wanted to clarify on it because as we were talking about it, the thought popped 59:39 59 minutes, 39 seconds into my head, wait a minute, that does sound familiar, February 19th, and when we're talking about presidents, you know, having these 59:46 59 minutes, 46 seconds types of instances with extraterrestrials. I started thinking about now and I thought about Barack Obama where he famously had that moment 59:55 59 minutes, 55 seconds last month or so. It was actually on Valentine's Day. I remember because I was out to lunch with my wife where that clip broke where he said aliens are real and then he had to explain himself. But guess what happened? 1:00:06 1 hour, 6 seconds Yes. I wanted to bring this up. Yeah. Go ahead. 1:00:08 1 hour, 8 seconds February 19th of this year in 2026, President Trump had the moment on Air Force One where he said, "Oh yeah, you 1:00:15 1 hour, 15 seconds know what? I'm have to look into the Alien Files." And then later that night on February 19th this year, he puts out the truth social statement saying that 1:00:23 1 hour, 23 seconds he's going to ask to have the Alien Files declassified. What is it? And this again, this wasn't prepared. This wasn't something I researched. It's just 1:00:31 1 hour, 31 seconds He could have picked He could have picked any time of any day, but he waited till the night of February 19th to announce, "I'm opening up all the files." 1:00:39 1 hour, 39 seconds What is that about? Is this just Is that a coincidence or not? I That is so weird. So now we have these three things with three different 1:00:46 1 hour, 46 seconds presidents at three different time periods where it's a meeting with Eisenhower, it's a showing with Jackie Gleason from from Nixon, and then 1:00:55 1 hour, 55 seconds President Trump puts out that we want to declassify all on February 19th spread out between 70 years. How strange is that? 1:01:03 1 hour, 1 minute, 3 seconds Yeah, I'll go you one better. I'm doing research on President Reagan, who also had his own one or two UFO sightings. 1:01:11 1 hour, 1 minute, 11 seconds And in his digitized records of February 19th, 1987, I think it was, he's at the White House, 1:01:18 1 hour, 1 minute, 18 seconds but he picks up the phone, according to records, and he called all our past former US presidents to talk to them about something on that exact date. 1:01:26 1 hour, 1 minute, 26 seconds Really? 1:01:27 1 hour, 1 minute, 27 seconds Coincidence? Yeah. Ford, Nixon, and Carter. He says, "I've got something I want to talk to you about." So, what was it so important that he had to talk to 1:01:36 1 hour, 1 minute, 36 seconds all our presidents on that day? I don't know. 1:01:40 1 hour, 1 minute, 40 seconds Maybe someday after we're dead and gone, they'll release everything. But, uh, it's a special day and I don't know if I 1:01:47 1 hour, 1 minute, 47 seconds can't say for sure. Trump waited purposely for this historic night of February 19th, but that's when he made this big announcement. You know, 1:01:56 1 hour, 1 minute, 56 seconds I had no idea until right now that there was that connection. So, I guess, you know, maybe that means absolutely nothing and it's completely circumstantial, but it is it is an odd coincidence to say the least. 1:02:06 1 hour, 2 minutes, 6 seconds Yeah. And that's when Roger Stone decided to spill the beans on what Nixon told him. Coincidence or not, when he saw that uh Trump had announced on 1:02:14 1 hour, 2 minutes, 14 seconds February 19th, this is when uh Roger Stone wanted to get this information across that Nixon showed Jackie Gleason 1:02:23 1 hour, 2 minutes, 23 seconds uh the evidence for extraterrestrial visitation. It's not a joke. The presidents know these things. They're much more informed. I think when you see 1:02:32 1 hour, 2 minutes, 32 seconds Clinton, Obama, and Bush on talk shows, they're almost always asked, "Are we being visited? We'd like to know." And they give a glib answer and laugh it off 1:02:41 1 hour, 2 minutes, 41 seconds or uh you know, and finally Obama did say, "Yeah, I think aliens are real." And that uh caused some people to say, 1:02:49 1 hour, 2 minutes, 49 seconds "Oh, that's a violation of national security." Which again tells you that we really are being visited. If it was nonsense or just mer speculation, no one 1:02:58 1 hour, 2 minutes, 58 seconds would be in any sort of uproar. So over and over we're finding the government in drips and drabs leaks or says these 1:03:07 1 hour, 3 minutes, 7 seconds things. Our congress people look into it and find out, yeah, we've got the evidence. We've got the proof. They don't want to show us. We keep pressing 1:03:15 1 hour, 3 minutes, 15 seconds and now UFO related people are disappearing. 1:03:20 1 hour, 3 minutes, 20 seconds Yes. Uh, mysteriously, I want to get across that I'm just a humble book author and I have no suicidal thoughts. 1:03:27 1 hour, 3 minutes, 27 seconds I'm not planning on leaving this world anytime soon. 1:03:30 1 hour, 3 minutes, 30 seconds Ditto, by the way, on that. Just a humble just in case one of us disappears for a while. 1:03:35 1 hour, 3 minutes, 35 seconds That's exactly right. Um, a couple of things. This has been really fascinating, Paul. I appreciate all the time because again, I know we've gone a little bit over what I promised you, but 1:03:42 1 hour, 3 minutes, 42 seconds just two more things that I wanted to get out there. Uh, specifically with the Gleon story. Um, you mentioned 19 or 1:03:50 1 hour, 3 minutes, 50 seconds that's the craft that might have been in this hangar uh that was shown to Gleon in 1973 and apparently this hanger 1:03:58 1 hour, 3 minutes, 58 seconds doesn't exist anymore at the Homestead base. Um, do we know then was there a case where there was some type of UFO 1:04:06 1 hour, 4 minutes, 6 seconds crash in South Florida that would have brought that craft to the Homestead base or was that brought from somewhere else from a different crash? Do we know? 1:04:14 1 hour, 4 minutes, 14 seconds I can't say for sure. I don't know. I do know that um Jackie was a Freemason and so was um a famous astronaut named 1:04:24 1 hour, 4 minutes, 24 seconds Gordon Cooper who golfed in Jackie's golf tournament and was there that day Nixon arrived. Okay. 1:04:30 1 hour, 4 minutes, 30 seconds And Cooper uh alleged that uh he was taken once to the sight of a uh an air uh an air crash, an aerial crash of an 1:04:38 1 hour, 4 minutes, 38 seconds extraterrestrial uh being or you know craft. And uh he didn't say for certain that it was 1:04:46 1 hour, 4 minutes, 46 seconds Florida, but he kind of hinted that it was. And it's a little vague, but this again is why the story is so closed off 1:04:54 1 hour, 4 minutes, 54 seconds and secretive is that Freemasons keep lots of secrets. My grandfather was a Freemason and he didn't talk about it much. They do secret things and have 1:05:02 1 hour, 5 minutes, 2 seconds secret meetings. They even have our own secret language and secret handshake. 1:05:07 1 hour, 5 minutes, 7 seconds So uh this was a part of the Cape Gerardo story in 41. Many members in Cape Gerardo were Freemasons. The president, the vice president, many 1:05:15 1 hour, 5 minutes, 15 seconds members of his cabinet were Masons. Uh, Senator Harry Truman was the Grandmaster Freemason of Cape Gerardo. And we'll get to that in a future show. 1:05:24 1 hour, 5 minutes, 24 seconds Yeah. 1:05:24 1 hour, 5 minutes, 24 seconds But Jackie was a devout Freemason and uh it was another reason why he won't talk about it. And he did tell his 1:05:33 1 hour, 5 minutes, 33 seconds wife everything, thank goodness. But I think he was so shook up um that uh he had to unburden himself to somebody that 1:05:41 1 hour, 5 minutes, 41 seconds night and she was worried because he looked terrible. Where have you been? And he just gave an honest answer. 1:05:47 1 hour, 5 minutes, 47 seconds Very interesting. Um and the last one, this is kind of anecdotal, but it was just, you know, again, one of those details that always kind of struck me. 1:05:53 1 hour, 5 minutes, 53 seconds Um we mentioned how he might have told other celebrities, including Bert Reynolds, who has again, you know, you mentioned an extensive history down here in South Florida, um in the Jupiter 1:06:02 1 hour, 6 minutes, 2 seconds area. So, but I also heard that Burl Ives of all people, of course, you know, known from the Christmas specials, and 1:06:09 1 hour, 6 minutes, 9 seconds that Burl Ives was told this story and that he related it to Marilyn Monroe, who I guess dug into it with with both 1:06:17 1 hour, 6 minutes, 17 seconds Kennedy's, you know, RFK and JFK. Is there any truth or is that just like some type of weird story that he wrote her a letter that this was in a letter 1:06:25 1 hour, 6 minutes, 25 seconds from Burough Lives that said that he was told about this and he related it to Marilyn Monroe? 1:06:29 1 hour, 6 minutes, 29 seconds Well, that's interesting. I haven't heard that. However, uh, Robert Slater was a good friend of Marilyn's and used to take pictures of her and he's got 1:06:38 1 hour, 6 minutes, 38 seconds these exclusive photographs of her uh, birthday party in June of 1962, just two months before her untimely demise. He 1:06:46 1 hour, 6 minutes, 46 seconds said, Marilyn told me that Robert Kennedy told me, Pillow Talk, that JFK went to an an Air Force base out west 1:06:55 1 hour, 6 minutes, 55 seconds and saw these alien bodies that were being stored there and alien craft. He said they were your typical gray beings 1:07:02 1 hour, 7 minutes, 2 seconds with big black eyes that Marilyn told him this and she didn't put everything she knew in her little red diary. So 1:07:11 1 hour, 7 minutes, 11 seconds this is what Robert Slitzer said he's passed on and of course everyone from that era has passed on including bur lives. So it could be true. I know this 1:07:19 1 hour, 7 minutes, 19 seconds is third hand and and secondhand hearsay, but you know, people were afraid to talk publicly and talked among 1:07:27 1 hour, 7 minutes, 27 seconds themselves a little bit and didn't write things down because they were afraid of being exposed or thought of as kooky in those days. 1:07:35 1 hour, 7 minutes, 35 seconds So, it's about the best we can go on. Uh I I would like to hear or see more information on Marilyn and Burlhives and 1:07:43 1 hour, 7 minutes, 43 seconds and this letter. It's uh quite interesting. But did the Kennedy brothers blab too much to Marilyn, their uh secret lover? It's possible. 1:07:53 1 hour, 7 minutes, 53 seconds Yeah. Wow. This is uh been really really fun, Paul. A lot of great stuff to to consider and to even go back and listen. 1:07:59 1 hour, 7 minutes, 59 seconds I'm going to go back personally and listen uh to some of the names and some of the more details again so I can take more of this in and take some notes. 1:08:07 1 hour, 8 minutes, 7 seconds It's been uh really really fascinating and and educational and I'm glad that these two stories remain to be some, you know, they're still spoken about. I 1:08:15 1 hour, 8 minutes, 15 seconds think they're important stories. Even if some people think they aren't true, maybe there's some elements of truth here that can lead us down some different paths. So, Paul Blake Smith, 1:08:24 1 hour, 8 minutes, 24 seconds this has been a lot of fun uh to talk about again and bring these stories up. 1:08:27 1 hour, 8 minutes, 27 seconds And I have a feeling that I'm going to be looking into these again more as time goes on. Uh before we go, how can people find your books that you've written about these subjects and what can we 1:08:35 1 hour, 8 minutes, 35 seconds look forward to? I'll have you back on in the future about your new book as well. 1:08:38 1 hour, 8 minutes, 38 seconds You probably can't see them very well, but the Eisenhower and Nixon books are right behind me on a table. Uh you can 1:08:45 1 hour, 8 minutes, 45 seconds find them on Amazon.com. They are still available and uh through audiobook on tantor.com 1:08:53 1 hour, 8 minutes, 53 seconds and one has been signed, the Nixon Gleason book has been signed to be turned into a major motion picture. Outstanding. 1:09:00 1 hour, 9 minutes Uh and we're working on the Eisenhower story as well to turn that into a major motion picture. It's getting closer. Uh 1:09:08 1 hour, 9 minutes, 8 seconds I don't get too much money up front, but if they do become major motion pictures, I get a little more. 1:09:14 1 hour, 9 minutes, 14 seconds Uh so uh we'll hopefully get those to the big screen or at least like a streaming service like Netflix or Peacock or something like that. So uh 1:09:23 1 hour, 9 minutes, 23 seconds you can find my books. I try to cram in as much factual information and not go over the top and make sure the readers 1:09:30 1 hour, 9 minutes, 30 seconds get their money's worth and there's footnotes and such and sources. Uh so um uh it's uh like you say, it's just 1:09:38 1 hour, 9 minutes, 38 seconds fascinating as can be both stories and I hope to have a uh a book on President Reagan's close encounters uh in the 1:09:45 1 hour, 9 minutes, 45 seconds coming year or two and I'll have one on the Cape Gerardo story updated with some uh tidbits and new information coming out in July from Llewellyn Publishing. 1:09:54 1 hour, 9 minutes, 54 seconds Outstanding. Well, we'll talk to I'll bring you back on here, Paul, the next few months once that one comes out and we can talk about a lot of these stories 1:10:02 1 hour, 10 minutes, 2 seconds and that's that's uh event 1941 because I think that's one a lot of people um overlook in in Missouri in 1941. You know, so many other crashes are spoken 1:10:10 1 hour, 10 minutes, 10 seconds about. So again, amazing stuff. I don't think personally it's any coincidence that these things um relate back to a lot of different presidents and a lot of 1:10:19 1 hour, 10 minutes, 19 seconds different stories with different presidents. So, it's it's a subject that is going to continue to go on until maybe more information comes out to the public.
