I think there are UFOs. I think there are uh objects that are not operating on fossil fuels flying around our planet. 0:09 9 seconds Scientifically, I think there's a possibility for some of these UFOs to be 0:15 15 seconds of nonhuman origin. I don't think it makes any sense like even from a 0:22 22 seconds scientific perspective that uh you can rule out malevolent interest 0:29 29 seconds from outside of our planet. Hello everybody. Welcome back to Watch Mojo and the Unveiled podcast where we talk about everything related to UFOs and Chapter 2: Meet Darcy Weir 0:37 37 seconds UAPs. I'm your host Rob and today my guest is Darcy Weir. He is a researcher and documentarian who has made many 0:45 45 seconds films on the topics of UFOs and UAPs as well as cryptids and even cryptocurrency. And you can find many of 0:53 53 seconds his films online in places like Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. So he joins me today to talk about his latest projects 1:00 1 minute and how they connect to the UAP disclosure movement. Darcy, welcome to the show. 1:05 1 minute, 5 seconds Thanks for having me. I'm happy to be here. 1:07 1 minute, 7 seconds It's great to speak with you. Before we get into some of your recent work, I'm curious to know about how you got into this in the first place. What was your Chapter 3: Falling into the UFO rabbit hole 1:14 1 minute, 14 seconds introduction like to the world of UFOs and what made you decide to dedicate your life to researching and creating films about them? 1:23 1 minute, 23 seconds Um, you know, I was just at a tough spot in my life. Uh, I was only around 20 1:30 1 minute, 30 seconds years old. Um, I'm now 20 years older, but um, I 1:39 1 minute, 39 seconds was curious about this topic and I kind of fell into the rabbit hole, so to speak, and, um, 1:48 1 minute, 48 seconds I was, I guess, going through a bit of ontological shock, as people have coined it these days, since Grush came forward. 1:59 1 minute, 59 seconds Um, and uh, yeah, I I just always kept it in the back of my head that I wanted 2:08 2 minutes, 8 seconds to investigate and research this community, investigate and research these stories. 2:15 2 minutes, 15 seconds Um, and I studied film and video production. Uh, post high school. 2:24 2 minutes, 24 seconds I went to uh a technical school that actually started in Montreal, Quebec called Trebus Institute. 2:31 2 minutes, 31 seconds Oh, I'm familiar with that. I'm from Montreal, so yeah, I'm very familiar with Trebus. 2:36 2 minutes, 36 seconds Yeah, but I I studied in Toronto because they had quite a few schools across the country at one point. Um and then I went 2:45 2 minutes, 45 seconds to university and I studied film and video. Uh sorry, I studied film and sociology as my two majors. In um 2:52 2 minutes, 52 seconds sociology, you get ex exposed to all kinds of documentaries because believe it or not 2:59 2 minutes, 59 seconds um you know sociology is the study of groups of people and their behavior as a group rather than individual psychology. 3:08 3 minutes, 8 seconds And um I just noticed in the UFO community this is like a sociological 3:16 3 minutes, 16 seconds uh phenomenon and um that's interesting in itself. And then on top of that the actual phenomenon of 3:26 3 minutes, 26 seconds these things flying around the sky or going into our oceans or being in outer space, you know, uh in our solar system, 3:35 3 minutes, 35 seconds that type of thing. these odd um encounters that human beings are having around the planet. 3:42 3 minutes, 42 seconds That's really interesting, too. So, hook, line, and sinker. I was just kind of sucked into that vortex and uh I've 3:50 3 minutes, 50 seconds been making documentaries uh for over a decade now. Um, and like you said in the 3:58 3 minutes, 58 seconds intro, just focusing on all kinds of different uh topics, but by majority, the UFO topic is is where I've been um, 4:08 4 minutes, 8 seconds you know, making these stories, right? And things have moved fast over the last 10 years. So, how has the uh Chapter 4: From believer to skeptical investigator 4:16 4 minutes, 16 seconds the the vision of of your your film making changed? 4:20 4 minutes, 20 seconds You know, I originally started as just like a believer of everything. Um, and you may 4:29 4 minutes, 29 seconds have noticed um that like documentary Dark Alliance, which um it it the 4:36 4 minutes, 36 seconds interesting thing is that one of my very first interviews as a a 4:43 4 minutes, 43 seconds researcher was on a a show h uh hosted by Carrie Cassidy who 4:51 4 minutes, 51 seconds has um her own website called Project Camelot and she would record these interviews still does and she still goes 4:59 4 minutes, 59 seconds to conferences uh regarding UFOs and secret space program stuff. Um 5:08 5 minutes, 8 seconds and I had made a documentary about a alleged whistleblower named Phil Schneider who 5:16 5 minutes, 16 seconds said he worked on this Doulce New Mexico underground base. Um he got into an altercation with aliens and lost his 5:24 5 minutes, 24 seconds fingers in this battle. uh all this pretty wild stuff, right? Um 5:32 5 minutes, 32 seconds and I believed that story originally. I've since original since the very first time I 5:40 5 minutes, 40 seconds made it um re I guess edited it, released it again I 5:47 5 minutes, 47 seconds think in 2020 on Amazon Prime and I even make an uh you know proclamation near the end of the dock like not everything 5:55 5 minutes, 55 seconds Phil Schneider said is true. Um and we've there's evidence that he lost his 6:02 6 minutes, 2 seconds fingers like when he was a teenager. So, you know, it just doesn't quite line up. But underground bases, that is a thing. 6:11 6 minutes, 11 seconds You know, there there's underground bases all across the United States. It's a strategic asset for the military to 6:22 6 minutes, 22 seconds conduct all kinds of secret stuff, to house things, to, you know, run kind of secret operations. 6:30 6 minutes, 30 seconds Um, and so I think what happens with this topic is people get sucked in by the 6:37 6 minutes, 37 seconds grandiose stories because what if is the thing is kind of like bouncing around in 6:45 6 minutes, 45 seconds their head. uh and leaving them in awe of these very confident people that are 6:52 6 minutes, 52 seconds speaking to either a crowd at a conference or on a camera, you know, uh set up like this in a documentary. 7:03 7 minutes, 3 seconds But then underneath all of that is probably some kernel of truth. And what 7:10 7 minutes, 10 seconds that is, I'm still trying to figure out as a researcher and investigator myself, you know. Um, 7:18 7 minutes, 18 seconds I think there are UFOs. I think there are uh objects that are not operating on fossil fuels flying around our planet. 7:27 7 minutes, 27 seconds And I think it's possible scientifically if you look at things like the Drake equation in, you know, astrobiology 101 7:37 7 minutes, 37 seconds in university, life in the universe, which was a book penned by Seth Showstack and another um uh scientist. 7:47 7 minutes, 47 seconds They conclude that there has to be life in our Milky Way galaxy. And it's probably in the millions, not in the, 7:57 7 minutes, 57 seconds you know, uh, hundreds or thousands. And we're talking about intelligent life like us, maybe even superior to us 8:05 8 minutes, 5 seconds because we're on the outer edge of a galactic spinning disc. We're in the boonies. We're a new star. Um, 8:14 8 minutes, 14 seconds scientifically, I think there's a possibility for some of these UFOs to be 8:21 8 minutes, 21 seconds of nonhuman origin. Um, and I understand strategically why the 8:29 8 minutes, 29 seconds military would want to keep that a secret and if they captured some of these craft, why they possibly 8:37 8 minutes, 37 seconds tried to reverse engineer these nonhuman craft, right? All that stuff is possible 8:44 8 minutes, 44 seconds to me. But it's also possible to me that there's hoax and there's people that come to this space because they know 8:52 8 minutes, 52 seconds that there's such a sense of awe um and you know 9:00 9 minutes inspiring entertainment opportunity to capitalize on that they can speak confidently to crowds and to audiences. 9:10 9 minutes, 10 seconds captivate them and take the attention sometimes take uh financial gain and that's enough incentive. 9:21 9 minutes, 21 seconds One of the recent pieces that you that you made which I watched uh leading up to this interview is called Dark Alliance, the inside story of the cosmic Chapter 5: Corey Goode and the “Cosmic Con” 9:30 9 minutes, 30 seconds con. And that revolves around the story of this guy Corey Good who made all 9:36 9 minutes, 36 seconds these lofty claims about being involved in a secret space program and going on these missions. And long story short, he 9:45 9 minutes, 45 seconds had a very popular uh show on the platform Gaia. um he had a large following and then things kind of fell 9:53 9 minutes, 53 seconds apart for him and he revealed ultimately that it was all a lie and uh you know 9:59 9 minutes, 59 seconds not true. So in a nutshell like one of the one of the tough things about this topic is being able to separate the fact 10:08 10 minutes, 8 seconds from fiction because as you said there are a lot of people saying a lot of things and it gets very confusing. 10:14 10 minutes, 14 seconds So, what what can you tell us about this Corey good story and what that should uh like inform people about how to go about 10:22 10 minutes, 22 seconds processing all of the information that is out there? 10:25 10 minutes, 25 seconds Yeah. You know, um Leon Isaac Kennedy, an African-American actor who we feature in the second episode of this docu 10:33 10 minutes, 33 seconds series. Each one is about an hour and 25 minutes. Um, this actor became famous in the 80s for 10:43 10 minutes, 43 seconds being in films with like Muhammad Ali and stuff. Uh, there the series was called Penitentiary. 10:49 10 minutes, 49 seconds Um, he's become like a producer in Hollywood and at one point he kind of took Corey and David Wilco under his 10:56 10 minutes, 56 seconds wings to try and propel their career further to go from just Gaia to 11:03 11 minutes, 3 seconds Hollywood stardom. And um you know Gaia has its echo chamber effect and it has a 11:12 11 minutes, 12 seconds huge audience. It has uh I think they have about 600,000 paying subscribers for their network and then they have 11:19 11 minutes, 19 seconds like a YouTube channel with millions of subscribers and um all kinds of conferences that they fund and stuff. So 11:27 11 minutes, 27 seconds they have like um an ability to take ideas and um really magnify them into a 11:37 11 minutes, 37 seconds larger audience at a quick rate. And um Corey Good, David Wilcock both launched their stardom on Gaia. 11:48 11 minutes, 48 seconds Um but they did it I think from a place where 11:55 11 minutes, 55 seconds they understood these kernels of truth that are at the very bottom of all this 12:02 12 minutes, 2 seconds misinformation and disinformation and uh speculation and entertainment that 12:09 12 minutes, 9 seconds builds up on top of it, not only in the community but just in media in general. 12:14 12 minutes, 14 seconds And they um farmed those very popular ideas and constructed their their own 12:23 12 minutes, 23 seconds sort of mega conspiracy entertainment um concept which then you know uh became 12:32 12 minutes, 32 seconds huge and Gaia promoted them uh pushed their story for a while. 12:40 12 minutes, 40 seconds David Wilcock, he really started at Gaia first and when he was running out of steam and needed to really take some of 12:48 12 minutes, 48 seconds that pressure off of uh his own onus um as an entertainer and contentwise, he 12:56 12 minutes, 56 seconds brought in um Corey Good, who was basically becoming popular on this chat forum 13:04 13 minutes, 4 seconds called Project Avalon, which was a sister website to project Camelot, which I was talking about earlier, right? Um, 13:12 13 minutes, 12 seconds it's almost like the it was the early like 4chan of conspiracy murmuring on 13:19 13 minutes, 19 seconds chat forums and Corey uh was already in a bit of hot water on 13:27 13 minutes, 27 seconds that uh platform because the the owner and administrator of that website, the web 13:35 13 minutes, 35 seconds admin, Bill Ryan, he ended up um publishing an article on his own site. 13:42 13 minutes, 42 seconds saying, "I don't believe this guy." But the thing is, you know, it's kind of like 13:49 13 minutes, 49 seconds when it when it comes to like this conspiracy community, it's like that Mark Twain uh quote, you 13:57 13 minutes, 57 seconds can convince a man uh like I'm paraphrasing it like you can convince a 14:04 14 minutes, 4 seconds man of anything uh of a con, but you can't convince a man uh that they have 14:12 14 minutes, 12 seconds been conned. It's like 10 times harder, right? So once people believe in a story to try and walk them back from that 14:20 14 minutes, 20 seconds story and uh disbelieving that they were had, that's a really hard thing to do. I 14:27 14 minutes, 27 seconds basically am trying to help accomplish that with telling this story. Corey Good 14:35 14 minutes, 35 seconds then went on to be on a show called Cosmic Disclosure on Gaia that was 14:41 14 minutes, 41 seconds hosted by David and him. and they started talking about this um intergalactic 14:49 14 minutes, 49 seconds narrative called 20 and back, which is essentially um a fable that 14:58 14 minutes, 58 seconds individuals like him became like super space soldiers and fought in space 15:05 15 minutes, 5 seconds battles with bad aliens, the reptilians, for 20 years in the future. And then they were age regressed like Benjamin 15:15 15 minutes, 15 seconds Button with a combination of technologies back into a younger body of themselves 15:23 15 minutes, 23 seconds to live out their meager lives on this planet. And he's getting these memories. 15:30 15 minutes, 30 seconds He's getting this total recall sort of thing like Arnold Schwarzenegger did um in a famous uh fiction film 15:39 15 minutes, 39 seconds about this other life he lived in space and he didn't do it just once. They called him back on Gaia for three 15:47 15 minutes, 47 seconds seasons. So he lived 60 years in the future and uh the stories just kept 15:53 15 minutes, 53 seconds getting bigger and better and um you know you can go online now. There's a 15:59 15 minutes, 59 seconds whole SSP new age community that um have conferences that are just dedicated to 16:08 16 minutes, 8 seconds that and they have new SSP astronaut soldier people come up on stage and 16:14 16 minutes, 14 seconds present their story and it's all based on this foundation that was launched on Gaia with these guys. 16:22 16 minutes, 22 seconds One of the shocking things is that as you mentioned in in your uh in your series, Gaia did not vet these people Chapter 6: Gaia, secret space programs and failed vetting 16:30 16 minutes, 30 seconds before giving them shows basically. Uh which kind of then discredits or opens 16:37 16 minutes, 37 seconds up the entire rest of their catalog to you know speculation because who else 16:44 16 minutes, 44 seconds maybe you know didn't get properly vetted and maybe spewing misinformation or disinformation too. And that's one of the sticky things. It's like once one 16:52 16 minutes, 52 seconds person gets caught lying, it kind of discredits an entire group of people, some of whom may be telling the exact 17:00 17 minutes truth. But now, you know, it's been ruined by the these, you know, certain group of frauds. So, that in itself is another problem. 17:09 17 minutes, 9 seconds Yeah. I mean, again, when you've got that echo chamber effect, that mass marketing ability to turnkey present 17:17 17 minutes, 17 seconds ideas to um a large population of people and then, you know, they're sharing that 17:25 17 minutes, 25 seconds media and it propagates throughout the UFO community, which is, you know, um 17:32 17 minutes, 32 seconds it's a niche community as it is. Um, I'm not becoming popular by speaking out 17:39 17 minutes, 39 seconds against this stuff. I'm actually getting a lot of like hate mail from UFO folks 17:46 17 minutes, 46 seconds that are probably from that Gaia community. Um, and the Corey Good and David Wilcock uh, sort of followers, 17:56 17 minutes, 56 seconds they have large followings too, hundreds of thousands, right? So, 18:02 18 minutes, 2 seconds when they're not vetting these so-called insiders or whistleblowers or secret 18:10 18 minutes, 10 seconds space astronaut soldiers, whatever you want to call them, and they're not just calling it pure 18:18 18 minutes, 18 seconds entertainment, which is mostly what it is. I mean, people that come to this sometimes are tired of 18:26 18 minutes, 26 seconds the good old book, Christianity, for example. and they want something a little bit more uh interesting than that. 18:36 18 minutes, 36 seconds Believe it or not, these guys speak to that community. They actually when they are telling their secret space fables, 18:42 18 minutes, 42 seconds they work in, you know, hints of uh Christian stuff like they'll talk about Jesus and 18:51 18 minutes, 51 seconds they'll talk about and they're still doing it today, you know. Uh, for example, at Corey's peak of stardom, he 19:01 19 minutes, 1 second was calling himself the modernday Enoch, which is the Enoch um tale from the Genesis Bible is basically preJesus. 19:13 19 minutes, 13 seconds And it's um, you know, the guy that was taken to space to meet God and learn how to do things to then bring that teaching 19:22 19 minutes, 22 seconds to the rest of humanity. So we became a better civilization. So he's kind of calling himself a demig god, right? And 19:30 19 minutes, 30 seconds um that often you see in cult leader type behavior. They're saying I'm the 19:37 19 minutes, 37 seconds medium. I'm the one you need to come to to ascend or to have a better life or to 19:46 19 minutes, 46 seconds be redeemed in order to go to heaven and stuff like that, right? This is exact. 19:51 19 minutes, 51 seconds It's like out of that same playbook what these people are doing. David Wilcock right now uh his latest book is the 20:00 20 minutes channeling of Archangel Michael. So, he says he's in direct contact with an angel, archangel Michael, and that um 20:10 20 minutes, 10 seconds all of his teachings and his prophecies are going to come true uh to humanity, which includes like, you know, solar 20:19 20 minutes, 19 seconds flashes that are going to destroy the planet and uh you know, if you follow him and you bring your vi vibration up and you ascend, you'll be saved. 20:30 20 minutes, 30 seconds So, um, yeah, it's pretty wild. You know, it starts in this UFO space, but 20:36 20 minutes, 36 seconds then it becomes this big religious sort of grift in the end. And, um, 20:45 20 minutes, 45 seconds I think that's the type of crowd that gets attracted to Gaia because it's all about spirituality. It's this very newagy thing. The whole new age movement 20:55 20 minutes, 55 seconds kind of came about from people that were tired of just boring old Christianity. There's nothing wrong with Christianity. 21:03 21 minutes, 3 seconds It's just some people wanted something else. And this is what they're getting often, right? They're getting these like demigod 21:12 21 minutes, 12 seconds cult leaders in the UFO community. Can you talk a little bit about how things started to fall apart for for Corey um Chapter 7: What Corey Goode said under oath 21:19 21 minutes, 19 seconds and his story and how how he ended up ultimately um testifying that you know those he referred to the things that he 21:27 21 minutes, 27 seconds had framed as truth as his intellectual property and you know framing it as as if he created this new thing like a Star 21:34 21 minutes, 34 seconds Wars or Star Trek but the whole while he was selling it as if it was a real life thing that happened to him. 21:41 21 minutes, 41 seconds Yeah. Um that deposition video was actually recorded by the lawyer of Leon Isaac Kennedy. Uh they were embroiled in 21:48 21 minutes, 48 seconds a legal battle over two years uh which cost Leon like hundreds of thousands of dollars. And um 21:57 21 minutes, 57 seconds the lawyer used the opportunity to really push all of these things that he said were true on his Gaia program in 22:05 22 minutes, 5 seconds his documentaries post leaving Gaia um and during this legal battle, right? A 22:12 22 minutes, 12 seconds lot of it was like defamation and embezzlement is what he was accusing people who were former colleagues in in 22:19 22 minutes, 19 seconds this like UFO tainment business. Um, and it it it really shows I mean some people 22:29 22 minutes, 29 seconds have kind of pointed out what seems to be like a sociopathy, like a uh, you know, something's not 22:36 22 minutes, 36 seconds quite right up there. if you're able to claim these things were true initially, but then when you're in a legal 22:45 22 minutes, 45 seconds deposition, uh you know that you're perjuring yourself, if you're lying, you finally say, "Well, I didn't actually go to 22:54 22 minutes, 54 seconds space. I didn't actually physically go there. It was all a um meditative process practice." Right? That's what he 23:02 23 minutes, 2 seconds said. and it's completely opposite from what he was marketing uh during these conference years and um on TV. 23:12 23 minutes, 12 seconds Are there any other figures in the UFO community that you would caution people against believing, you know, the the stories that they're telling? Chapter 8: Steven Greer and red flags in UFO disclosure 23:20 23 minutes, 20 seconds Oh, yeah. There's a whole list. Um I would say be real careful with Dr. 23:27 23 minutes, 27 seconds Steven Greer. Um, you know, just because you were a a surgeon at one point in your life doesn't mean that you know all 23:35 23 minutes, 35 seconds the secrets to a military cover up of a UFO history. Um, 23:43 23 minutes, 43 seconds he has these confessions that he makes that um, you know, he was told not to 23:51 23 minutes, 51 seconds follow the UFO topic by a former high-ranking military official. Uh and 23:58 23 minutes, 58 seconds uh he was bribed with an offer of a billion dollars. Okay. A billion dollars. 24:06 24 minutes, 6 seconds I believe it was $2 billion. Actually, I I've heard that several times. Yeah. 24:11 24 minutes, 11 seconds In the '9s. Also, it's very convenient that that person is dead. So, we can never conver confirm or 24:18 24 minutes, 18 seconds deny that story, right? Um, that's like that's a big red flag and that's one of 24:26 24 minutes, 26 seconds his biggest talking points right now on Shawn Ryan or on uh you know what whoever will take him on uh probably 24:37 24 minutes, 37 seconds uh American Alchemy with Jesse you know uh whatever his name is. 24:42 24 minutes, 42 seconds Jesse Michaels. Michael's, you know, it's weird because if you look at a 24:50 24 minutes, 50 seconds documentary he made called um I think it's called The Lost Century, the 24:57 24 minutes, 57 seconds website landing page, they had a funding round to make that film. And it says right on the website that their funding 25:05 25 minutes, 5 seconds was $600,000 they accumulated. This is before it even went for sale on streaming platforms and stuff. 25:14 25 minutes, 14 seconds Well, I heard through the grapevine it only costs $5,000 to edit it and it's just Steven Greer sitting in a chair 25:21 25 minutes, 21 seconds talking the whole time and repeating the same points he said in every documentary that's come out before. So, where did 25:28 25 minutes, 28 seconds all that money go? My documentaries don't cost that much. And you know, 25:34 25 minutes, 34 seconds after I publish them, I don't make handover fist the amount of money he makes. So, 25:44 25 minutes, 44 seconds I just worry that there's people out there that have gained a lot of stardom and attention from their earlier work. 25:51 25 minutes, 51 seconds And he did do some interesting things with the Disclosure Project, which are all behind a payw wall now, these old archival videos. 26:00 26 minutes Um, I just worry that people like this that already have a cult following are weaponizing their cult against people 26:08 26 minutes, 8 seconds like me and other people who are trying to push the subject somewhat forward. 26:15 26 minutes, 15 seconds Um, into a realm that's more scientific and 26:22 26 minutes, 22 seconds uh, you know, scrutinized heavily with some kind of documentation or proof. 26:27 26 minutes, 27 seconds Like that's what I try to do in my documentaries. 26:30 26 minutes, 30 seconds Um, and you know, if if it's not Stephen Greer, you've got other people that are saying that they're summoning UFOs. I've 26:38 26 minutes, 38 seconds had an experience. I have never published this before, but um, you know, I traveled around LA for a whole day 26:45 26 minutes, 45 seconds with the UFO summoner and he was releasing balloons in the air. So, um, 26:53 26 minutes, 53 seconds yeah, that's what you usually UFO summoners are doing. And when they're charging you a really big clip to go 27:01 27 minutes, 1 second take part in that show, what are you really experiencing? Unless you don't know all the factors that are 27:09 27 minutes, 9 seconds surrounding your group when these so so-called UFOs uh arrive, you know, at night. 27:19 27 minutes, 19 seconds Um there's a lot of that and uh and it's very some of that is Christian adjacent, 27:27 27 minutes, 27 seconds right? Um anyways, I could go on forever and I could name names, but I don't I don't really want to. Um you'll probably see 27:36 27 minutes, 36 seconds in the comments as soon as you publish this interview a ton of Greer followers attacking me and attacking your 27:44 27 minutes, 44 seconds credibility for having me come and speak. I mean, it's happening right now on the Julian Dory interview that was 27:50 27 minutes, 50 seconds just published. It's how these people continue to proliferate their ideas. 27:56 27 minutes, 56 seconds They build basically social media armies. It's the same thing that Corey Good and David Wilcock have. Um, they go after their detractors. 28:07 28 minutes, 7 seconds And what if not, you know, if that's not a cult and cultlike behavior, what is, 28:16 28 minutes, 16 seconds right? And and that's to me that's one of the frustrating things about dealing with this subject matter is that there are so many competing narratives out Chapter 9: Conflicting whistleblower narratives 28:23 28 minutes, 23 seconds there. Greer's having you know one of them where in particular um just the his 28:31 28 minutes, 31 seconds seemingly belief that um if there are entities visiting Earth that just by the nature of having interstellar travel 28:39 28 minutes, 39 seconds they cannot be malevolent beings. like you must have you must have good intentions if you are allowed to leave your planet type thing. And then on the 28:48 28 minutes, 48 seconds other side of things, the more official government whistleblowers who seem to frame it as there are things in our skies, we don't know what they are as 28:57 28 minutes, 57 seconds opposed to Greer who says many of them are backineered and human humanmade craft. Um but people like Lou Alzando, for example, frame things as a threat. 29:07 29 minutes, 7 seconds you know, we must be careful because we don't know if these things can be dangerous to us or not. That alone is kind of confusing for people to actually 29:16 29 minutes, 16 seconds wrap their head around what's really going on. And as you mentioned, David Gush at the top of the this episode, 29:24 29 minutes, 24 seconds there are many official government whistleblowers who have come forward who themselves have kind of become like celebrities now as well. Um so that's 29:33 29 minutes, 33 seconds that's its own kind of like strange spotlight put on them. Um and on the note of summoning uh spacecraft, you 29:42 29 minutes, 42 seconds know, you have the most recent whistleblower Jake Barber who now has this project called um Star Skywatcher. 29:50 29 minutes, 50 seconds Skywatcher um which is doing essentially that you know trying to uh use psionic 29:57 29 minutes, 57 seconds abilities as he terms it to uh attract and document UAP activity. So it becomes very confusing for anybody who's really 30:05 30 minutes, 5 seconds paying attention to this and trying to make heads or tails because you get different stories from different people. 30:10 30 minutes, 10 seconds Some of them official government sources which I guess are open to their own sort of skepticism as well because there's a 30:17 30 minutes, 17 seconds long history of secrecy from the government itself. So why would we necessarily believe these people coming forward now? And then other people like 30:25 30 minutes, 25 seconds Greer who, you know, claim to have insider info uh and are not affiliated um as they claim with governments. So 30:34 30 minutes, 34 seconds where do you stand on this? Like what's the key to understanding what's going on in your in your mind? 30:41 30 minutes, 41 seconds There's a lot there to unpack, right? Uh Greer was one of the original people to Chapter 10: Who in the disclosure movement is credible? 30:48 30 minutes, 48 seconds come forward and bring whistleblowers to mainstream media. 30:55 30 minutes, 55 seconds Now we have a real whistleblower that came from the Pentagon environment aided 31:03 31 minutes, 3 seconds by Christopher Melon who also came from that work environment and they were exposed to all kinds of the this data. 31:11 31 minutes, 11 seconds I've spoken with another person who um was an analyst that looked at videos 31:17 31 minutes, 17 seconds that came out of the uh ATIP research program. Uh Sarah Gam, you should have her on sometime. She's legit. 31:27 31 minutes, 27 seconds And there are videos that she saw that are more and more plentiful and u 31:34 31 minutes, 34 seconds similar quality to say the Tic Tac or Gimble or Go Fast UAP videos that were 31:41 31 minutes, 41 seconds officially leaked and mass um you know spread around the world. So I think 31:48 31 minutes, 48 seconds there's a lot more of that stuff and um I think there are people that were at 31:55 31 minutes, 55 seconds one time exposed to this in a official work capacity um for a military or intelligence 32:06 32 minutes, 6 seconds uh you know establishment within the United States. I think in Canada we also 32:13 32 minutes, 13 seconds have our J6 which are kind of like our men in black. Um we have CEUS which is 32:20 32 minutes, 20 seconds our intelligence service and we have our military our air force and NORAD that 32:28 32 minutes, 28 seconds monitors airspace over this continent right through to the United States. So I 32:35 32 minutes, 35 seconds think we have a history of probably concealing this data too and we are noticing or we're we're witnessing this 32:44 32 minutes, 44 seconds interesting time in our lives where people are coming forward from an official capacity saying this is real, right? 32:53 32 minutes, 53 seconds The weird thing that's happening is that you have uh people that were the most 33:00 33 minutes popular sort of whistleblower wrangler in the past getting jealous and upset about this situation and they're 33:07 33 minutes, 7 seconds launching into a war against the new guys. 33:11 33 minutes, 11 seconds Um I don't think it makes any sense like even from a scientific perspective that Chapter 11: Could non-human intelligence be malevolent? 33:19 33 minutes, 19 seconds uh you can rule out malevolent interest from outside of our planet. I mean just 33:28 33 minutes, 28 seconds because you have uh the ability to travel interstellar doesn't mean that you're not going to exploit 33:36 33 minutes, 36 seconds um other civilizations around you. I mean, when you get into that type of talk, you're talking about the Galactic 33:44 33 minutes, 44 seconds Federation and a protocol in which you cannot intervene, right? That's Star 33:51 33 minutes, 51 seconds Trek. That's Gene Rodenbury fiction. And if that's what Steven Greer is talking about, 34:00 34 minutes where did he get that from? And where's the proof? And whi who are the actual species that are part of this federation 34:10 34 minutes, 10 seconds of good extraterrestrials that have come to our prison planet that are trying to interact with us, you know, uh I it just 34:20 34 minutes, 20 seconds doesn't add up to me. So, and and when you talk about Galactic Federation, which has been brought up even in the 34:29 34 minutes, 29 seconds Dark Alliance documentary, this started out of a cult, you know, in California 34:36 34 minutes, 36 seconds and um it's carried on in fiction and it's been elaborated. 34:43 34 minutes, 43 seconds And um if there really was that protocol not to intervene to even show yourself 34:52 34 minutes, 52 seconds is an intervention on its own. So it completely slams that argument to the ground that that's a possibility because 35:00 35 minutes there's been so many military incursions. There's been so many credible witness sightings throughout the decades around the world. Westall 35:10 35 minutes, 10 seconds 66, uh, you know, Brazil, V Virginia, um, 35:18 35 minutes, 18 seconds Bentwaters, the the Rendlessham case in the UK. You've got, uh, Veronv in Russia, which is like a strange case 35:28 35 minutes, 28 seconds where entities got out of a craft and a whole town and children and adults ran away. 35:34 35 minutes, 34 seconds um this seems to be a real phenomenon and if there is this Galactic Federation, they've completely broken that protocol. 35:44 35 minutes, 44 seconds So, I don't believe it. 35:47 35 minutes, 47 seconds I think um if there is something interacting with our planet, it's 35:54 35 minutes, 54 seconds probably a very scientifically developed civilization. 35:59 35 minutes, 59 seconds Maybe they've been around in our solar system for a while and they've monitor monitored 36:06 36 minutes, 6 seconds our growth and maybe they already use artificial intelligence. Maybe artificial intelligence is part of the 36:14 36 minutes, 14 seconds evolution of most technologically advanced species 36:19 36 minutes, 19 seconds and we're getting to a point where our technology is catching up with theirs. 36:28 36 minutes, 28 seconds Not I mean if they're super advanced probably we're not that close but we're getting to a point where maybe we can start to interface with them with the 36:37 36 minutes, 37 seconds aid of AI with the aid of you know other technological breakthroughs if there is 36:44 36 minutes, 44 seconds a possibility of anti-gravity or uh some kind of gravity displacement devices out there. I think this is all possible. 36:55 36 minutes, 55 seconds Um, and our technology on our fighter crafts and uh, 37:02 37 minutes, 2 seconds all of this military equipment or even DHS, Department of Homeland Security is being upgraded constantly with the best 37:10 37 minutes, 10 seconds fleer camera tech with the best radar tech. And if you hear people, pilots like Fraver or uh Graves 37:20 37 minutes, 20 seconds speak, they say, "We had just upgraded the F-18 fighter jet, you know, and we were picking up these objects or our radar was picking up the objects off the 37:29 37 minutes, 29 seconds coast of Virginia or off the coast of California, wherever, right? 37:35 37 minutes, 35 seconds Um I think we're going to detect these things more and um 37:42 37 minutes, 42 seconds eventually the truth about this will be revealed whether it is a completely man-made like that's the 37:50 37 minutes, 50 seconds other thing it's so interesting that um Greer always says the man all these UFOs are man-made and 37:59 37 minutes, 59 seconds then all the whistleblowers that have come forward recently are um conmen and and they're not legitimate. 38:09 38 minutes, 9 seconds They're scops, their intelligence um implants to deceive everybody. And it's like who? The UFO community. 38:19 38 minutes, 19 seconds Like that's a pretty small community compared to the rest of the world that does not believe in this stuff. Um 38:27 38 minutes, 27 seconds it just doesn't add up. And to me, I think, who are the ones then that are 38:35 38 minutes, 35 seconds alien craft? How do those work? Who are the aliens driving them, Mr. Greer? Um, you know, 38:43 38 minutes, 43 seconds right? Because he also claims that most of the abduction stories that we hear about were perpetrated by the government 38:51 38 minutes, 51 seconds and not ETSs. Also, military myabs, military abductions. Yeah. 38:57 38 minutes, 57 seconds um to convince everybody that these are bad aliens or something, right? It's just 39:04 39 minutes, 4 seconds fitting with his narrative. And unfortunately, when people are becoming so manipulative 39:12 39 minutes, 12 seconds in their narrative control, it shows the truth is slipping. They're not really they're not telling the full truth. Chapter 12: The strongest evidence for UAP and NHI 39:23 39 minutes, 23 seconds Narratives aside, what what in your view is the most compelling evidence that you've seen of both UAP activity but 39:31 39 minutes, 31 seconds also possible uh NHI presence? Okay, so I named like a couple cases, but um 39:40 39 minutes, 40 seconds you know there's Shag Harbor in our very own Canadian history um and apparently Shelburn incident which happened uh 39:49 39 minutes, 49 seconds within the 1960s to sort of what seems like nonhuman intelligence waterbased um encounters 39:59 39 minutes, 59 seconds that our military or or well a joint NATO navy the uh dive process. These 40:07 40 minutes, 7 seconds divers who um I don't know if you've spoken to him, but Chris um Chris uh who wrote, you know, investigated Shag 40:16 40 minutes, 16 seconds Harbor for decades now. Um he [snorts] spoke to the divers and they said they saw something down there. It looked like 40:25 40 minutes, 25 seconds they were repairing the craft and it did not look human. 40:30 40 minutes, 30 seconds Um, you've also got obviously this Brazilian case was really well covered by James Fox, but before 40:38 40 minutes, 38 seconds him, Stanton Freriedman did a very good expose. Dr. Roger Lear, um, you know, the alien implant doctor. 40:48 40 minutes, 48 seconds Um, I think there's cases from pretty much 40:55 40 minutes, 55 seconds every country. Even Mexico has had some really strange uh UFO history. Um 1991 41:04 41 minutes, 4 seconds there was a mass sighting uh during a solar eclipse in which Haime Ma saw 41:10 41 minutes, 10 seconds covered and thousands of people across the country of Mexico saw multiple objects flying around in the sky that look like discs. 41:21 41 minutes, 21 seconds You know, if you talk to people like Paul Stonehill, who's a former, you know, he was part of the former Soviet 41:29 41 minutes, 29 seconds Union, escaped when uh the Berlin Wall came down, came to the US. I 41:35 41 minutes, 35 seconds think he's in LA now. Um he and even George Knapp, he got 41:42 41 minutes, 42 seconds documents out of uh the former Soviet Union about their whole um crash retrieval program. The Russians 41:51 41 minutes, 51 seconds are interested. I think the Chinese have been interested. The Americans obviously have been interested in getting this 41:59 41 minutes, 59 seconds technology and using it for their own gains. Um, so 42:07 42 minutes, 7 seconds I think there's a case for non-human intelligence. There's a case for possibly um us from the future. 42:16 42 minutes, 16 seconds And uh you know, you kind of brought up earlier the whole psionics thing and this Chapter 13: Remote viewing, psionics and consciousness 42:24 42 minutes, 24 seconds psychic um modality that has to do with interfacing with possibly them and um 42:34 42 minutes, 34 seconds the craft. That's something that's constantly come up in the lore of this. 42:40 42 minutes, 40 seconds And um I am currently like making a documentary on that and sort of 42:48 42 minutes, 48 seconds investigating the history of these claims and it's just all over the place. 42:54 42 minutes, 54 seconds I mean telepathy is experienced by people that have been abducted. 43:01 43 minutes, 1 second Um telepathy is experienced by people that just see the craft. They sometimes have thoughts beamed into their head when they're having a sighting. 43:13 43 minutes, 13 seconds Then there's people that say the occupants of the craft were um operating 43:20 43 minutes, 20 seconds this by thought, you know, not by using a joystick or some control system like a 43:29 43 minutes, 29 seconds computer mouse, you know. 43:33 43 minutes, 33 seconds Um, and then you do have a deep history of remote viewing that's gone on in the 43:41 43 minutes, 41 seconds United States officially by the CIA, the DIA, and afterwards, private contractors have 43:50 43 minutes, 50 seconds been continuing on. Um, you know, you could talk to people like Paul Smith. 43:55 43 minutes, 55 seconds They have clients that hire that hire him still today to remote view. And some 44:02 44 minutes, 2 seconds of those might be military or defense um clients, right? So 44:09 44 minutes, 9 seconds remote viewing, this psychic ability or tool to use a sixth sense like an extra 44:17 44 minutes, 17 seconds sensory perception that does not include your five physical senses to look into the future or to look at a distant 44:26 44 minutes, 26 seconds location seems to be very real. uh another fellow Canadian, Chris Ramsay, 44:32 44 minutes, 32 seconds who has channel Area 52, he's basically experienced this phenomenon working by 44:40 44 minutes, 40 seconds doing it himself, by testing it, seeing if he's good at it, and he's met other remote viewers that are even better. You 44:47 44 minutes, 47 seconds know, it seems that uh humans innately have some kind of psychic ability. 44:54 44 minutes, 54 seconds People like Rupert Sheldrake proved that um even dogs or animals have some kind 45:01 45 minutes, 1 second of psychic ability innately and some more so than others. So, um I think 45:09 45 minutes, 9 seconds maybe a universal language or a um universal ability with higher 45:16 45 minutes, 16 seconds intelligence as you go up the uh the ladder of intelligence, you probably um 45:24 45 minutes, 24 seconds have more prodigious ability to use psychic um tools or psychic ability. Yeah, I've 45:32 45 minutes, 32 seconds spoken to a couple of remote viewers on this show who, you know, are full-on, 45:40 45 minutes, 40 seconds I mean, they practice this stuff. Um, it's their it's their careers at this point and, uh, insist that everybody is 45:48 45 minutes, 48 seconds able to do it. It is an innate ability that anybody can do. But then I've also spoken to you know um academics with 45:55 45 minutes, 55 seconds PhDs who are like yeah but also like just technologically speaking you know we we can do this with you know computer 46:04 46 minutes, 4 seconds interfaces and stuff like that. It's it's also possible from a technological standpoint for us to to like build these 46:11 46 minutes, 11 seconds things into our biology to allow us to do that too. So it's kind of like maybe possible on two fronts. you know, you can have the natural side of it where 46:20 46 minutes, 20 seconds some people are more inclined than others, but then you could have this sort of like cyberpunk 2077 style, you 46:28 46 minutes, 28 seconds know, like upgrade system where we may technologically be able to develop ourselves more in that direction. um 46:35 46 minutes, 35 seconds which kind of lends itself to the idea that these craft could be operated you know remotely using consciousness or 46:42 46 minutes, 42 seconds whatever however you want to define consciousness because that too is a conversation in and of itself. Um and as we start to develop AI and technology 46:52 46 minutes, 52 seconds you know it all kind of like meshes together in a weird way. Um so it becomes very hard to separate but um 46:59 46 minutes, 59 seconds what else have you learned in in uh going about the process of creating this new uh this new project that you're working on with regards to the psychic phenomena? Chapter 14: Neuralink and the future of telepathy 47:09 47 minutes, 9 seconds Well, I like a couple things you just brought up. So for example, Elon Musk just file filed a telepathy 47:17 47 minutes, 17 seconds um patent and copyright that has to do with neural link. Um, so it looks like 47:25 47 minutes, 25 seconds scientifically and technologically we're going to be at a point in the future if this technology actually propagates and 47:32 47 minutes, 32 seconds becomes mainstream to use thought to move machines 47:41 47 minutes, 41 seconds uh to send information around the world. Um, and 47:49 47 minutes, 49 seconds that's essentially what we're talking about with the UFO phenomenon, right? 47:53 47 minutes, 53 seconds And, uh, it it it's almost like we had a glimpse of a future that was possible uh, before we even knew it was possible. 48:03 48 minutes, 3 seconds And um, I think that, you know, a greater developed brain, a 48:12 48 minutes, 12 seconds brain, you know, is a CPU. It's a a maybe a quantum 48:20 48 minutes, 20 seconds um many people have said this already and Jesse from American Alchemy has even said like a room temperature quantum 48:28 48 minutes, 28 seconds computer. You know, it's able to do the things that we're able to accomplish are incredible with our brains. And even 48:36 48 minutes, 36 seconds scientists are starting to uh take brain cells and create brain cell um 48:46 48 minutes, 46 seconds central processing run units that are in a virtual reality 48:53 48 minutes, 53 seconds uh playing with physics and all kinds of running all kinds of tests and stuff. 48:58 48 minutes, 58 seconds And apparently um brain cells are better than crystal CPUs which are what we use in our phones 49:06 49 minutes, 6 seconds and our PCs around the world. So if we just look at where we are right 49:14 49 minutes, 14 seconds now technologically and we watch that go up that that uh 49:21 49 minutes, 21 seconds Marshall's law of where we're going in the future if we don't destroy ourselves in some kind of mass um atomic 49:30 49 minutes, 30 seconds you know war or something like that nuclear war um we could start using these technologies that people have 49:39 49 minutes, 39 seconds talked about experiencing psychic technologies um in in our in our time as human beings 49:49 49 minutes, 49 seconds and um I feel to me like that's what it is that that's the logical that's the 49:56 49 minutes, 56 seconds logical progression of where things are headed and and and do you think that it does stem from because even through you Chapter 15: Can psychic abilities be developed? 50:05 50 minutes, 5 seconds know um world religions and like some of the oldest stories and things like that. 50:09 50 minutes, 9 seconds Like we often hear about, you know, ancient cultures and like their meditation practices and stories 50:17 50 minutes, 17 seconds about, you know, being able to levitate and do different things like this with the mind. And obviously in today's culture, we are so far removed from all 50:25 50 minutes, 25 seconds of that that it's very hard to imagine because we spend so much time in dealing with all of these tactile things. But do 50:32 50 minutes, 32 seconds you think that there's anything to that uh the the stories from the from the older cultures about being able to develop those abilities innately? 50:41 50 minutes, 41 seconds Very possibly. Yeah. I think um but I I think SRRI uh Stanford Research Institute with 50:50 50 minutes, 50 seconds Ed May at the helm of the continuous remote viewing or ESP uh research that they're doing there. 51:00 51 minutes that was, you know, he's kind of taken over from Hellp Put Off and all these guys before him, uh, Russ Tar, right? 51:08 51 minutes, 8 seconds If you listen to what they say, um, they're basically saying that you can 51:16 51 minutes, 16 seconds basically develop your psychic ability better than what you're currently aware of by practicing it. But you can only go 51:24 51 minutes, 24 seconds up to your innate ability uh which is your limit, right? And if 51:31 51 minutes, 31 seconds you look at like an anecdotal story of say Pat Price, who was apparently the most psychic police commissioner that 51:39 51 minutes, 39 seconds Russell Tar had ever met um during his time running the pro the Stargate project, 51:47 51 minutes, 47 seconds which was a CIA run uh investigation of psychic abilities as a 51:53 51 minutes, 53 seconds um defense tool basically, right? Um, this guy could like do full out-of- body 52:01 52 minutes, 1 second experiences in remote locations and float around like a ghost and look into safes that were locked and see 52:09 52 minutes, 9 seconds everything that was written down on paper and basically recite it back to the uh controller of that remote viewing session. 52:20 52 minutes, 20 seconds Um there's not a lot of people you hear about that uh today and it's possible that those people exist but they're just 52:28 52 minutes, 28 seconds being used clandestinely in secret sort of intelligence or military u projects. 52:36 52 minutes, 36 seconds It's possible. The other possibility again if you go back to the brain maybe if you have a limitation in ability to 52:44 52 minutes, 44 seconds do that physically and other people don't um maybe we're going to get to a point where we're going to stimulate 52:52 52 minutes, 52 seconds growth in that area and uh you know our wetw wear will be upgraded so to speak. 52:59 52 minutes, 59 seconds It's possible. Chapter 16: Bigfoot, cryptids and the UFO connection 53:01 53 minutes, 1 second I know you've done a lot of research into cryptids as well, and this kind of like ties into the UFO phenomenon to 53:08 53 minutes, 8 seconds some degree. A lot of people are aware of places like Skinwalker Ranch, which has had a lot of UAP sightings, but also other strange things like weird 53:17 53 minutes, 17 seconds creatures being seen in portals and like, you know, hauntings like poltergeist activity and things like that. 53:25 53 minutes, 25 seconds How do you think um well first of all tell me what what you've learned about cryptids through your research and is 53:32 53 minutes, 32 seconds there any connection to the UAP phenomenon that you can discern. 53:36 53 minutes, 36 seconds Okay. Yeah. So I have looked into the Bigfoot or Sasquatch um history and I I 53:44 53 minutes, 44 seconds did two documentaries on that. Um subjects that I featured in that were people like Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum who's 53:52 53 minutes, 52 seconds collected over 300 foot casts from different specimen all across the world that have been witnessed by different people, different cultures. Um, you 54:02 54 minutes, 2 seconds know, he's got an imprint of the yeti from the Himalayas. He's got an imprint 54:08 54 minutes, 8 seconds uh cast of uh the Patterson Gimlid footage uh creature they call Patty from 54:16 54 minutes, 16 seconds the 1960s that was in Bluff Creek, Northern California. He's got um a 54:22 54 minutes, 22 seconds supposed imprint from an almisty in the Russian area like the Caucus Mountain regions. Um I think just like the UFO 54:32 54 minutes, 32 seconds subject, if you have enough smoke, there's got to be fire at the other end of that um you know that phenomenon. So, 54:41 54 minutes, 41 seconds I think there's some truth to wild men sightings like uh cryptids that you could call relic homminids that at one 54:50 54 minutes, 50 seconds point possibly proliferated across the planet before we took over. And uh what 54:57 54 minutes, 57 seconds we are very good at doing is extincting, you know, extinguishing species that 55:05 55 minutes, 5 seconds have been here before us. We're dominant species. We procreate quickly um and we build and we take over and we 55:15 55 minutes, 15 seconds destroy around us, right? So um my thesis in terms of like the crypted of 55:22 55 minutes, 22 seconds Bigfoot or Sasquatch is that that was just something that was here that was also a bipedal type of apeike creature. 55:31 55 minutes, 31 seconds Um and we've mostly hunted it out of existence. Uh maybe some of it lives in scarce populations in deep wilderness. 55:42 55 minutes, 42 seconds It's possible. Some of that stuff is straight up hoax. 55:46 55 minutes, 46 seconds It's guys wearing suits and I don't think the Patterson Gimlin footage is a hoax. I mean, I got to see the original 55:54 55 minutes, 54 seconds footage and license it uh from the Gimlin family. 56:00 56 minutes Uh, you know, there's people that believe that Sasquatch are like portal jumping UFO riding creatures. 56:10 56 minutes, 10 seconds I don't know. I don't see enough evidence of that. Um, and to prove that 56:16 56 minutes, 16 seconds you need substantial amounts of uh documentation, photos, videos, 56:24 56 minutes, 24 seconds u reports, and we just don't have enough of that. You do have certain niche groups within the crypted community that 56:32 56 minutes, 32 seconds believe that. And you know, uh, people like Bill Merrill popularized the 56:38 56 minutes, 38 seconds Sasquatch portal jumping, uh, story back in the 1980s and 90s, and I actually featured some of him in my documentary, The Unwanted Sasquatch. 56:49 56 minutes, 49 seconds Um, but it just sounds like somebody who's telling a cool story, putting a a new 56:57 56 minutes, 57 seconds spin on a phenomenon or a crypted that possibly is real. Um 57:05 57 minutes, 5 seconds the United States Milit uh Army Corps of Engineers, they published a North 57:12 57 minutes, 12 seconds American atlas in I think it was like the 70s and they acknowledged uh Bigfoot 57:19 57 minutes, 19 seconds in the uh Washington State, Oregon, and Northern California area 57:28 57 minutes, 28 seconds for their personnel. If you're going to be working in these wilderness areas, you might bump into these things. Was 57:36 57 minutes, 36 seconds that a joke? I don't think so. I think it's there's some credibility there. Um, but you know, is there some other 57:44 57 minutes, 44 seconds crypted or or some other phenomenon that you want me to narrow in on? I mean, I'm kind of talking about one thing here. I mean, like, can you name a few? 57:52 57 minutes, 52 seconds because I I mean most people are familiar with Bigfoot, but like um what else is out there that might not be on people's radar necessarily? 58:01 58 minutes, 1 second I mean I'm not a crypted expert, right? 58:04 58 minutes, 4 seconds I I just kind of narrowed in my sites to investigate that which is like the sort of like homminid thing. But if you're 58:11 58 minutes, 11 seconds talking about the uh like relic homminid theory uh that there at one point were 58:17 58 minutes, 17 seconds other manl lookinging or ape upright ape like creatures that were more robust better for living in the wilderness than 58:25 58 minutes, 25 seconds us maybe. Um you're talking about like the almisty in Russia, the yeren in China. Um also called the yeti in Russia but definitely in the Himalayan area. 58:38 58 minutes, 38 seconds Um, you've got the orang pend, which is like a short um, I guess you could call 58:45 58 minutes, 45 seconds it like a monkey man uh, that was in the Malaysian area. 58:51 58 minutes, 51 seconds Bears are not unique to North America, right? And we know that at one point um 58:59 58 minutes, 59 seconds North America, Canada and the United States were attached to Russia and China with the Great Bearing Strait uh which 59:07 59 minutes, 7 seconds was called then the Bearing Land Bridge which was a large uh frozen 59:13 59 minutes, 13 seconds ice uh structure, right? We know that like all kinds of uh fauna animals 59:22 59 minutes, 22 seconds migrated across that to proliferate around the world. And so we have a certain type of bear here in China. They 59:31 59 minutes, 31 seconds have the sun bear. They have a type of brown bear in Russia. Um you know they they have all kinds of cats and stuff 59:39 59 minutes, 39 seconds too in different parts of the world, right? Wild cats. And so, um, 59:47 59 minutes, 47 seconds if you believe that these cryptids, these like more, um, 59:55 59 minutes, 55 seconds ape-like hominids or upright walking sometimes, uh, creatures like 1:00:03 1 hour, 3 seconds Gigantopithecus or Astralopythecus, which we actually have fossil record of existing, at one point crossed that barrier. 1:00:15 1 hour, 15 seconds that land bridge and they uh also existed in North America. Maybe that's why we see what we nicknamed a Sasquatch 1:00:24 1 hour, 24 seconds or a skookum or uh you know a Bigfoot uh 1:00:31 1 hour, 31 seconds in our land. But then the Yeran in China and the Shenenia national rainforest or uh the Caucus region of Russia and 1:00:40 1 hour, 40 seconds Eastern Europe, they see their own wild man, right? We spent a lot of time talking about kind of like the uh the Chapter 17: How to detect misinformation and grifters 1:00:49 1 hour, 49 seconds more suspect a aspects and people involved in the UAP discussions. 1:00:55 1 hour, 55 seconds just to kind of cap it off for people cuz you know so many people are interested in this topic, but what is your best advice for kind of detecting 1:01:04 1 hour, 1 minute, 4 seconds BS when it comes to these topics and what should people look out for that should kind of like set off alarms for them if anything? 1:01:12 1 hour, 1 minute, 12 seconds Yeah. Um, ask for the facts, try to scrutinize the information that's presented to, you know, we live in the 1:01:19 1 hour, 1 minute, 19 seconds age of information. uh we we can find out the backstory to pretty much everything these days. Try to get more 1:01:28 1 hour, 1 minute, 28 seconds information on everything that you're interested in. Um try to have more than one source, like three sources is 1:01:36 1 hour, 1 minute, 36 seconds usually a pretty real story, right? Um, if this person that's captivating and 1:01:44 1 hour, 1 minute, 44 seconds entertaining, that's got your attention, is presenting this information, see what they're doing, uh, you know, 1:01:53 1 hour, 1 minute, 53 seconds outside of their story. Are they asking for money constantly? Are they fundraising? That's usually a red flag 1:02:01 1 hour, 2 minutes, 1 second because there's a huge monetary incentive to covering these stories. And um that's sometimes what people are really after. They want your attention. 1:02:14 1 hour, 2 minutes, 14 seconds They want your adoration and your respect and they want you to sometimes do stuff for them and they want your money. 1:02:22 1 hour, 2 minutes, 22 seconds Great points. And I would add as just a a side thought to try to keep as open a 1:02:28 1 hour, 2 minutes, 28 seconds mind as possible and don't be afraid of changing your opinions. And as you mentioned, you actually re-edited and re-released one of your early films 1:02:37 1 hour, 2 minutes, 37 seconds because your perspective changed down the down the line, which I find to be remarkable and, you know, lends credence 1:02:44 1 hour, 2 minutes, 44 seconds to your your qualifications as a as a good journalist and documentarian because we should not be dogmatic in our thinking and we should always keep an 1:02:53 1 hour, 2 minutes, 53 seconds open mind and be open to uh you know shifting our beliefs according to new information that that gets thrown our way. So, I congratulate you for that. 1:03:01 1 hour, 3 minutes, 1 second And um where can people check out your stuff? Uh you know, I recommend everybody check out some of your films. Chapter 18: Where to find Darcy Weir 1:03:08 1 hour, 3 minutes, 8 seconds Where would you recommend that people go? 1:03:10 1 hour, 3 minutes, 10 seconds Yeah. Um depending where you are in the world. I mean, uh a lot of you can search my name and a catalog of my films will come up on 2BTV for free to watch. 1:03:22 1 hour, 3 minutes, 22 seconds Um especially in Canada, uh or Australia or the US. 1:03:30 1 hour, 3 minutes, 30 seconds I'm also on Amazon Prime Video, Roku, um, 1:03:36 1 hour, 3 minutes, 36 seconds Fawsome, which is like a new platform, and, uh, I'm kind of shadowbanned on YouTube, believe it or not. I've got an 1:03:44 1 hour, 3 minutes, 44 seconds account there, but uh, doesn't seem like anybody who's ever subscribed to me sees the stuff I post. Um, but yeah, like 1:03:53 1 hour, 3 minutes, 53 seconds that's I'm I'm usually on other networks with featurelength um, you know, long form storytelling. 1:04:01 1 hour, 4 minutes, 1 second Awesome. Well, once again, I encourage everybody to check out your stuff. Darcy Weir, thank you so much for your time. 1:04:07 1 hour, 4 minutes, 7 seconds Uh, it's been a great conversation and I hope we can do it again. Yeah, man. Thanks, Rob. 1:04:12 1 hour, 4 minutes, 12 seconds All right, take care everybody. See you next time.
