and an inoperable parachute and I was unconscious. So I went the rest of the way to the ground. Eyewitnesses [music] accounts are that I hit the ground at 0:08 8 seconds about 100 miles an hour and I immediately realized that there is a light shining down from above and 0:17 17 seconds there's a large circle of light on the ground and we're all in it. At that point and I'm thinking I'm going to get to know who it is. I heard a voice as 0:26 26 seconds clear to me today as the day had happened and it said it's time to go now. 0:39 39 seconds Okay, so I've never been a huge weed person, mostly because I think dispensaries are a little overwhelming and pretentious. He is a US Air Force uh 1:22 1 minute, 22 seconds par rescueman and special tactics uh official and uh he has a really unique story. So I'm really excited to speak 1:29 1 minute, 29 seconds with you. What's crazy about your story is that it brings three kind of different threads together. You have the 1:36 1 minute, 36 seconds elite military credibility. You had a near-death experience and you have had a UAP encounter. So three very distinct 1:45 1 minute, 45 seconds characteristics that all come together for a unique story. and I'd like for you to just start by telling me a little bit about your near-death experience. Let's start with that. 1:55 1 minute, 55 seconds All right. Hey, Rob. I'm really glad to be here. It's it's it's amazing uh being here at this event with you. [sighs] 2:02 2 minutes, 2 seconds So, the near-death event was result of a parachuting accident. So 2:09 2 minutes, 9 seconds in 1987 I was attached I was air force par rescue member I was attached to a SEAL team you know providing our 2:16 2 minutes, 16 seconds capability as a paramedic and they were part of the team and we were we were doing a local training parachute jump Chapter 2: Introducing Scott Gearen 2:25 2 minutes, 25 seconds freef fall uh jump and we parachuted we jumped out of a military uh Marine CH46 2:32 2 minutes, 32 seconds helicopter at 13,000 ft and the plan was to freef fall everybody's in flat and stable position and you're falling at 2:41 2 minutes, 41 seconds 120 mph terminal velocity. When you're in that [snorts] position, you can go faster, but you're falling 120 mph. 2:49 2 minutes, 49 seconds 3,500 ft was the plan to uh get our get away from everybody. Uh third well, let me take that back. 4,000 ft to get away 2:58 2 minutes, 58 seconds move away from everybody because usually you get in a group and then you can turn away at 4,000 ft and then at 3,500 ft. 3:06 3 minutes, 6 seconds And we have altimeters somewhere in our body at 3,500 ft. The plan was to open our parachutes. Had a deployment handle here. It's chest mounted deployment handle. I pulled my deployment handle. Chapter 3: The 1987 parachuting accident 3:18 3 minutes, 18 seconds The parachute opens by 3,000 ft. I'm under my canopy. 3:24 3 minutes, 24 seconds Unfortunately, there was another military member, a friend. No hard feelings. Accidents happened. But he was still in freef fall above me. 3:33 3 minutes, 33 seconds Saw my canopy. and he didn't [clears throat] think he would had the time to turn away left or right to avoid me. So he balled up in a cannonball 3:40 3 minutes, 40 seconds position, crashed directly through my parachute at his terminal velocity of over 120 mph. 3:49 3 minutes, 49 seconds Uh the impact destroyed the parachute, knocked me unconscious, shattered my skull, end up with an open skull 3:56 3 minutes, 56 seconds fracture and an inoperable parachute, and I was unconscious. So I went the rest of the way to the ground. 4:03 4 minutes, 3 seconds eyewitnesses accounts are that I hit the ground at about 100 miles an hour and 4:11 4 minutes, 11 seconds that started that that part of the near death. So from here well there was other jumpers in the air 4:18 4 minutes, 18 seconds that were still under their canopies saw me realized I was in trouble and they steered a couple of them were able to steer their parachutes and land as near 4:26 4 minutes, 26 seconds to where I impacted the ground as they could and start some medical treatments. 4:31 4 minutes, 31 seconds So, at this point, when people ask me questions like that, I I tell them I have two memories of it. I have an a 4:39 4 minutes, 39 seconds conscious memory and an unconscious memory. Now, my conscious memory ends on 4:47 4 minutes, 47 seconds board that helicopter before I jump. I don't remember jumping, but I remember standing up and looking out of a window. 4:56 4 minutes, 56 seconds And then several days later, I'm sort of coming to an ICU in the intensive care unit in Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia. Chapter 4: Hitting the ground at 100 MPH 5:07 5 minutes, 7 seconds So the in between part, when it happened, where it happened, how long it lasted, I don't really know. I just know that there were extended periods of the 5:16 5 minutes, 16 seconds unconsciousness. [gasps] But I never felt any pain at that point. 5:21 5 minutes, 21 seconds And I was I didn't know that I had the impact that I knocked me out. Didn't know it. So I and before this, I never 5:31 5 minutes, 31 seconds had um prolonged thoughts or in-depth thinking about near-death experiences. It wasn't 5:38 5 minutes, 38 seconds something that I gave as much of a second thought to. 5:42 5 minutes, 42 seconds But I'm now I'm somehow hovering above my body. I'm not in my body. It's a weird feeling, 5:50 5 minutes, 50 seconds but I'm not in my body, but I can see my body and I can see a couple of the my teammates on the ground scrambling 5:58 5 minutes, 58 seconds around trying to do things to start the process to save my life. But I'm looking at it. I feel no pain. I know it's my 6:07 6 minutes, 7 seconds body. I know it's injured, but I'm disconnected from it. I have this light, a light, a lowle, low intensity, 6:15 6 minutes, 15 seconds like a 40 watt light bulb light. It surrounds me. It embraces me. It's like a very very loving feeling. So I am feeling good. 6:24 6 minutes, 24 seconds And simultaneously I notice a very bright area above above me which is related to 6:31 6 minutes, 31 seconds like a 100 watt light bulb in this instance. And somehow I have the feeling that I am moving to this bright area. Chapter 5: Scott’s near-death experience 6:41 6 minutes, 41 seconds And again, that's weird because I feel kind of the same in my mind, what I think now, but I'm not in my body. I'm 6:50 6 minutes, 50 seconds not walking. I'm not running. I'm not flying. I'm just I'm moving, which is I feel is my soul, my consciousness moving 6:58 6 minutes, 58 seconds to this bright light. And I in this light was so bright I could see three 7:05 7 minutes, 5 seconds figures, three silhouetted figures that I uh I assumed as a human shape. And I 7:12 7 minutes, 12 seconds felt like I I knew them and that they were there to meet me and that I was getting closer. And I was enjoying I knew I was getting closer. I'm getting 7:21 7 minutes, 21 seconds closer. I'm going to I'm going to meet them. I'm going to know who it is that's there to greet me. I was almost to the point where your visibility opens up 7:29 7 minutes, 29 seconds just like if you're underwater and you open your eyes and then boom, you can see things. And at that point, and I'm thinking, I'm [clears throat] going to 7:36 7 minutes, 36 seconds get to know who it is. I heard a voice as clear to me today as the day had happened. And it said, it's time to go now. 7:45 7 minutes, 45 seconds And then it was like a million thoughts and feelings, maybe lessons entered my head. And physically, I didn't turn. was 7:54 7 minutes, 54 seconds in my body, but I turned away from the light, the bright light, and I at that same moment, I said, "God, I'm not ready 8:00 8 minutes to go yet." And so that's the end of my unconscious memory, [snorts] and then I'm coming to an intensive care unit. 8:10 8 minutes, 10 seconds How long did you perceive that unconscious memory to to take? 8:17 8 minutes, 17 seconds Well, the unconsciousness was some in and out throughout that time period. 8:23 8 minutes, 23 seconds It's it was hard to feel the time. I just didn't have a sense of time. I was just wasn't there. I was just going. So 8:31 8 minutes, 31 seconds from the time I was unconscious, impacted the ground into the hospital and I was coming to in consciousness in 8:39 8 minutes, 39 seconds the hospital. Um, so a couple hours in that time period, an hour, hour and a half before I got into the hospital, and 8:48 8 minutes, 48 seconds then that's when they immediately put a hole in my throat for a crycoyroidtomy. I say a hole, it's a medical procedure. 8:55 8 minutes, 55 seconds They um it's a quicker way than doing a tracheotomy, which are both very close to the same spot, but there's a small Chapter 6: “It’s time to go now” 9:04 9 minutes, 4 seconds little gap underneath your thyroid cartilage. They call that the crycoyroid space. And so, you know, we were a par 9:11 9 minutes, 11 seconds resatic paramedic rating. So, I have a little bit of knowledge still of these things and open up that put the airways 9:19 9 minutes, 19 seconds in and I I [snorts] had that in and out for weeks, probably close to a month. 9:28 9 minutes, 28 seconds Then taken it out. Uh I stayed in the hospital for almost three months up there and then about uh went back to my 9:37 9 minutes, 37 seconds unit. I wasn't working. I was just there doing recovery and stuff and trying to figure out what was going to happen to 9:44 9 minutes, 44 seconds me. And then I started having some additional problems with my throat. And it turns out the tube and the 9:52 9 minutes, 52 seconds crycoyroidtomy was in there probably for such a long time. It irritated the throat so bad that it started with a scar tissue called a subglottic Chapter 7: Medical aftermath and recovery 10:00 10 minutes granuloma. And it was building and building and it was it was choking me. 10:05 10 minutes, 5 seconds It was blocking my airway. Then I was back and forth into emergency room a couple more times. I lasered it out, 10:11 10 minutes, 11 seconds then a tracheotomy and then that went on for about six, seven months and then I finally ended up 10:20 10 minutes, 20 seconds then a mass general with Dr. Montgomery who was a leading surgeon in uh ears, nose and throat and he [snorts] uh 10:27 10 minutes, 27 seconds performed a reconstruction surgery on my throat. [sighs] uh had another tube in there for a few more months. And when that was finally 10:34 10 minutes, 34 seconds taken out, um I was ready to again physically try out for my job because 10:42 10 minutes, 42 seconds during that time period, once I got past all those initial stages of being injured, my my body recovered quickly. I didn't break anything. I have I have 10:50 10 minutes, 50 seconds breaks I have cracks in my all of my vertebraes. They're all compressed and and I have brakes in them, but it never 10:58 10 minutes, 58 seconds was a really a real break. But so I was able to run and exercise as best I could. I couldn't swim because if you 11:05 11 minutes, 5 seconds can imagine what I would have jumped in the water to swim, I would have filled up like a water balloon because of that hole in my throat. 11:13 11 minutes, 13 seconds Oh yeah. 11:14 11 minutes, 14 seconds And drown like that. And you know, swimming is obviously big part of our job as well, scuba diving. 11:19 11 minutes, 19 seconds So that may have been a little bit more than you were asking, but that's kind of an 18month process of recovery. And then eventually I got back up on got my job 11:28 11 minutes, 28 seconds back as a par rescue man and got about 500 more jumps after that. 11:33 11 minutes, 33 seconds How do you go back to work after experiencing something like that? 11:36 11 minutes, 36 seconds A mindset discipline. I'm going to do it. This is what I'm going to do and you just focus on it and that's what you do. 11:43 11 minutes, 43 seconds I to rationale um man what if it happens again kind of thought I said well I did everything correct. 11:52 11 minutes, 52 seconds My equipment worked properly. My friend did everything correct. It was an accident. I mean, there driving a car I 12:00 12 minutes think is more dangerous than jumping out of an airplane. You go out there and how many wrecks have happened today? It's people don't think twice about getting 12:07 12 minutes, 7 seconds in a car after accidents. So, that was part of my mindset to rationalize and I'm going to do it. I want to do it. 12:15 12 minutes, 15 seconds Now, when I did my first parachute jump, oh, I was scared. There's no doubt about it. I I was scared. 12:22 12 minutes, 22 seconds Uh, and I I talked to my teammates who were jumping with me, all very supportive and we're going out in a group and I was 12:30 12 minutes, 30 seconds like, "Guys, I want to be the last one out of this airplane, the C130, because I want to be out in my own clean 12:38 12 minutes, 38 seconds airspace." So, when I open, there's nobody above me. And, uh, so that was, you know, that's that's the way I got back into it. and uh 18 months later. 12:48 12 minutes, 48 seconds How was your perspective on the job changed after after the near-death experience? 12:55 12 minutes, 55 seconds Well, I would say combining that with the accident itself, the near-death 13:03 13 minutes, 3 seconds experience certainly affected me in ways of um I wasn't uh a loose cannon out there because, oh, I've died and I know 13:11 13 minutes, 11 seconds what's going to happen and that's going to be okay. you know, I I was still cautious. I think my my confidence 13:21 13 minutes, 21 seconds was was shattered and I had to rebuild that and I knew it, you know, and that's why I was focused, determined I'm going to do it. And it was a little bit at a Chapter 8: Returning to parachuting after the accident 13:30 13 minutes, 30 seconds time like crawl, walk, run. And that's how it was getting out of the hospital. I could barely get out of the bed. 13:37 13 minutes, 37 seconds Eventually, I could walk to the end and eventually once I'm out, I can start jogging. and and it was just that focus 13:44 13 minutes, 44 seconds and determination that one day I'm going to do it. Now the near-death experience part to affect my job 13:52 13 minutes, 52 seconds I don't think it affected my job affected me maybe as being aware that you know when I die that's not the end. 14:04 14 minutes, 4 seconds My consciousness everybody's consciousness their souls are going to go on. I don't exactly know where all of that is going to be. And I had a 14:12 14 minutes, 12 seconds pleasant near-death experience. I know some people don't. Then they ask me, you know, um why did you come back if it was so good? 14:22 14 minutes, 22 seconds You know, and there's there's different reasons that I feel I have. Uh and one of them I think about is, you know, we 14:30 14 minutes, 30 seconds have choices. I have a little bit of a choice there. Everybody doesn't have choices. I grew up in Florida, Tampa 14:38 14 minutes, 38 seconds area. uh grandparents, you know, they had Billy Graham on TV every day. My mother was taking me to church a few 14:44 14 minutes, 44 seconds times. As a kid, you know, Noah built the ark. Moses parted the Red Sea. 14:51 14 minutes, 51 seconds There's no questions. As you're a kid, you believe it. That's what it was. As you get older, start, hey, did that really happen? Did that really happen? 14:58 14 minutes, 58 seconds And then you wonder about these things. 15:00 15 minutes Then I have this accident and I feel you know my experience was a 15:07 15 minutes, 7 seconds spiritual journey in that sense and one of the reasons I survived was to tell people God is real. 15:16 15 minutes, 16 seconds Did you feel like you had in some sense a bit of a choice to come back or not? I did feel I had a bit of a [clears throat] choice and again that is Chapter 9: How the NDE changed Scott’s worldview 15:24 15 minutes, 24 seconds one of the the lessons in that experience was we have a consciousness 15:30 15 minutes, 30 seconds right now we do we are right where we are everybody is right where you are at any given moment based on every choice 15:39 15 minutes, 39 seconds you've made in your life to get you there [snorts] and so you want to always make the best choices and as good 15:45 15 minutes, 45 seconds choices as you can I don't think that Every person that has an accident, 15:53 15 minutes, 53 seconds a trauma, or dies is given that opportunity to have a choice. Some are just it's not going to happen for whatever the trauma was. 16:04 16 minutes, 4 seconds But in some instances, it's just a an awareness that you do have a choice. Um, 16:11 16 minutes, 11 seconds and go back and make good choices. uh that light that was around me, energy, love and [clears throat] an awareness 16:20 16 minutes, 20 seconds and that consciousness that we are all connected. 16:24 16 minutes, 24 seconds Yeah, that seems to be something that a number of people report feeling in circumstances like that. Um I want to move to uh another part of your career. 16:34 16 minutes, 34 seconds I understand that you worked uh for a period of time at Rendlessham Forest which is the site of one of the most 16:40 16 minutes, 40 seconds famous UFO cases of all time. What was the atmosphere like working there? 16:47 16 minutes, 47 seconds You know, I did not see anything that I'm aware of seeing. So, um, the base, there was two bases. This sister bases, 16:56 16 minutes, 56 seconds Royal Air Force Base Woodbridge and Royal Air Force Base Metwaters, which are straight line or a couple of miles 17:03 17 minutes, 3 seconds apart. Um, was a major A-10 base for both of them. Hundreds of A-10s were at 17:10 17 minutes, 10 seconds these bases because that during the Cold War was the um speed bump from the Soviet Union getting to America for 17:18 17 minutes, 18 seconds those A-10s to do the bust up the tanks or whatever it was. So I was fresh out of pair rescue training. My first 17:27 17 minutes, 27 seconds assignment was to Royal Air Force Base Woodbridge uh December of 17:34 17 minutes, 34 seconds uh February of 1980. [gasps and sighs] And I mean it was a wonderful experience uh for the base for the unit for our mission. 17:44 17 minutes, 44 seconds We had a C130 that was a composite unit and we had MH53 helicopters. Our area of 17:50 17 minutes, 50 seconds coverage so we could be called on at any time. Uh military especially or some 17:57 17 minutes, 57 seconds type of civilian rescues which we often called on was from North Pole to South Pole, Mid-Atlantic to Burma. So we were Chapter 10: RAF Woodbridge and Rendlesham Forest 18:06 18 minutes, 6 seconds everywhere and we covered every climatic condition that you can imagine. [snorts] So when we were on our home station at 18:14 18 minutes, 14 seconds Woodbridge, you come in the main gate, go down to the flight line. I would actually be turning a right basically 18:22 18 minutes, 22 seconds and you would go down to the end of the buildings that supported the aircraft, the U helicopters and the C130s. and our 18:32 18 minutes, 32 seconds our building was down there close to the end of all the buildings and then the bomb dump was over to the side. So, we 18:40 18 minutes, 40 seconds are required to maintain a higher level of physical fitness every day. We're going to exercise when we're on home 18:46 18 minutes, 46 seconds station or whenever we can. And after we would do our normal calisthenics, uh weightlifting or whatever it was, we 18:55 18 minutes, 55 seconds would go for a run individually or sometimes as a group. And back then that road dead end at [clears throat] 19:05 19 minutes, 5 seconds a small fence and it was easy to hop over and once you hopped over it you were in the forest rendition forest because you were completely surrounded 19:14 19 minutes, 14 seconds by the forest. Well, not completely. One road, one side was a road, but from between Woodbridge to Bentwaters, all 19:21 19 minutes, 21 seconds that forest was there. And then we'd run. That was our We'd run. We'd go run all through the forest. And, you 19:29 19 minutes, 29 seconds know, it always felt like I always thought the animals were watching us, you know, and somebody's looking, but it's always felt like animals. Never really got a really really eerie feeling 19:38 19 minutes, 38 seconds or anything about it. Um, we would also do navigation exercises at night. Um, 19:46 19 minutes, 46 seconds like we were going to find a a down pilot somewhere in the forest and we'd use our map and compass. Back then, we 19:53 19 minutes, 53 seconds didn't have all the GPS whiz gear and which and we'd walk and get out there in the forest and do our training. It was 20:00 20 minutes dark. It was very dark. And I know come up to December of 1980 when the 20:10 20 minutes, 10 seconds incident with the UFOs that landed in uh Reynolds Forest over several nights. Um 20:18 20 minutes, 18 seconds my point being that is it was dark out there and I never saw the lighthouse from the forest. I knew where the 20:26 20 minutes, 26 seconds lighthouse was and I had seen it many times before because we do scuba jumps. 20:32 20 minutes, 32 seconds You know, back then we put scuba tanks on our on our back, put a parachute on top of them and jump out there into the North Sea. So, we were always out there. 20:41 20 minutes, 41 seconds We'd see the lighthouse, but I never saw it from the forest. 20:47 20 minutes, 47 seconds Was that uh UFO incident ever spoken about? Oh, it everybody was talking about it. 20:54 20 minutes, 54 seconds uh you know, did you see the UFOs? Did you see if was like well no I didn't I want to but so everybody um it seemed 21:02 21 minutes, 2 seconds was talking about it and and uh I think I seem to remember that it actually made the British paper there. 21:10 21 minutes, 10 seconds So that's not the only UAP encounter that you've been in close proximity to. 21:16 21 minutes, 16 seconds You actually had um sightings of your own. Can you describe uh to me what happened? Was it in 2019 that you had a UAP? 21:24 21 minutes, 24 seconds I had a couple of sightings. I was like, which one? Yeah. But 2019. 21:28 21 minutes, 28 seconds So, so again, just the time timeline that was 1980, my first assignment. Had another assignment. Then I ended up at 21:36 21 minutes, 36 seconds the uh unit where I had the parachute accident. 21:42 21 minutes, 42 seconds And then I stayed active duty for several years until 2002. And then I was finally medically retired. And after 21:50 21 minutes, 50 seconds that I I I uh didn't do anything for a couple years. And then I did some contracting work overseas. And then I started uh 22:00 22 minutes doing some some public speaking about, you know, motivational stuff. You get injured, you know, just like get off that horse, you get back up on it. And 22:08 22 minutes, 8 seconds you inspired people like David Gogggins, for example. We're very close friends now. 22:12 22 minutes, 12 seconds That's amazing. He's one of the toughest people on the on the face of the planet. 22:15 22 minutes, 15 seconds So yes, he is. Yes, he is. So, you know, and you wonder why did you come back? 22:19 22 minutes, 19 seconds And that was one of the things I know you asked another question, but you you always influence somebody whether you realize it or not. Somebody 22:28 22 minutes, 28 seconds is always watching. And I would rather have a good influence on somebody to do good things than bad things. So, um I'm Chapter 11: Scott’s UAP experiences 22:37 22 minutes, 37 seconds very glad and happy that, you know, we met when we did and it was a positive uh meeting and positive influence for 22:44 22 minutes, 44 seconds David. And you know, he had some other struggles later on, but he did uh come and he stayed with me when I was uh 22:51 22 minutes, 51 seconds stationed in Key West, Florida, do some swimming and then a couple years later into the Air Force and then he got out. 22:59 22 minutes, 59 seconds [clears throat] 23:00 23 minutes He wanted to be a pair of rescue and as he detailed in his book, he had some issues in the water and then he, you know, made up his mind. He's going to be 23:07 23 minutes, 7 seconds a Navy Seal and he did it. You know, he called me. He said, "Hey, I'm I'm tired of being a tackling dummy for the Indian Indianapolis Indiana Colts or whoever it 23:15 23 minutes, 15 seconds was and want to go in the Navy and be a SEAL." I'm like, "Do it. Good luck. All the best." And uh and so I know that's a 23:24 23 minutes, 24 seconds long history of where he is now. But yeah, you you always influence somebody, you know, and I' I've had another son since then, several grandchildren, so 23:33 23 minutes, 33 seconds it's all great. And so I might have lost a little track of that last question. 23:36 23 minutes, 36 seconds That's okay. We went on a bit of a tangent, but getting back to your your history of UAP sightings from uh starting from your retirement. 23:44 23 minutes, 44 seconds So that ties in and a little bit in 2019 with the public speaking that I was doing and I was asked to come to uh 23:53 23 minutes, 53 seconds Panama City Beach and and do a motivational speech for uh an a group down there at Florida State University. 24:02 24 minutes, 2 seconds They weren't all college students, but a lot of people had been impacted by the hurricane and on. So, I was in Panama City Beach, Florida in 2019. 24:12 24 minutes, 12 seconds Um, I was in a hotel, beautiful hotel, right, Sun Sands of Panama or something, Panama Beach, and I was uh on the 22nd 24:21 24 minutes, 21 seconds floor, and I was doing push-ups was my goal that year. I had to do 100,000 push-ups. So, I was focused on my 24:29 24 minutes, 29 seconds push-ups. I figured if I do 2,000 push-ups a week, 50 weeks, I'll have my 100,000. So, four times a week, I was 24:38 24 minutes, 38 seconds doing my goal was 500 push-ups, which not that much really, right? But um some would disagree. [laughter] 24:47 24 minutes, 47 seconds So, I was doing push-ups and I was also uh focused on some rehearsal for my speech that night, going over things. 24:55 24 minutes, 55 seconds And I was doing my push-ups on the balcony, I saw a light that caught my eye, something very bright. I guess from 25:03 25 minutes, 3 seconds my background in the Air Force, curiosity, I was like, "What is that?" And quickly realized it was not a plane, Chapter 12: The 2019 Panama City Beach sighting 25:11 25 minutes, 11 seconds a normal jet or commercial or anything military. [snorts] It's not going horizontal across the sky. It's not moving. And then I 25:18 25 minutes, 18 seconds thought, "Must be a helicopter." And I looked at it and I from my military I have almost 2,000 hours as a 25:27 25 minutes, 27 seconds crew member on helicopters and I quickly realized helicopters don't do what this is doing 25:34 25 minutes, 34 seconds and I didn't know what it was. I said it's weird. Start taking pictures. So I I had my phone available. I was thinking 25:42 25 minutes, 42 seconds oh it might disappear any minute. So I started taking pictures with my phone some video and I said okay I have a better camera. Go get it. So, I got it. 25:51 25 minutes, 51 seconds Came back, still there. Took a dozen pictures or so. 25:56 25 minutes, 56 seconds Like, okay, now I got to do push-ups. I get down. I do push-ups. I'm not focused on It's not my main priority. I don't know. If I would have known that it was 26:03 26 minutes, 3 seconds as anomalous as it is, I would have been more focused. I do my push-ups. 26:09 26 minutes, 9 seconds Look back. It's still there. More dozen or so more pictures. Now, this cycle went on 26:16 26 minutes, 16 seconds for an hour or so. And I'm I've got to leave shortly because I've got my event that I'm going to. I take a shower. I 26:25 26 minutes, 25 seconds get out of shower. Whoa. It's still there. Take more pictures. I'm getting dressed. And uh a couple of things that 26:32 26 minutes, 32 seconds happened during this. It's sounds I don't know maybe weird to some, not to others, but while I was taking the 26:41 26 minutes, 41 seconds pictures, I had a thought like there was an interaction. And I wondered does that know I'm taking 26:50 26 minutes, 50 seconds pictures of it. And as I was wondering that it got closer. So it's coincidence or what? I don't know. But it got 26:58 26 minutes, 58 seconds closer. And I my initial estim estimate estimation was was much farther and much higher 27:06 27 minutes, 6 seconds than what I really now after looking at all the pictures and analyzing and things I've done. I think it was probably closer to two to five miles 27:14 27 minutes, 14 seconds away. maybe 2,000 to 5,000 feet as it moved around. 27:20 27 minutes, 20 seconds It got closer and so I thought, "Okay, that's a sign. It knows I'm here. I'm okay to take more pictures and continue to take pictures." as I took pictures. 27:33 27 minutes, 33 seconds Um, there were times when I couldn't see the object, 27:41 27 minutes, 41 seconds but with my polarized sunglasses, I could see it, which I thought, okay, that's that's weird. And it was another 27:50 27 minutes, 50 seconds factor. It wasn't like when I was looking at it and I could see the object, it wasn't leaving and coming back. It 27:58 27 minutes, 58 seconds was moving in a pretty much set area, but it changed shape. It didn't stay the 28:07 28 minutes, 7 seconds same shape. About every 10 seconds, it's going through some type of a cycle where 28:14 28 minutes, 14 seconds you can see it looks like initially I thought it was lights blinking like like on a an aircraft you have anti-colision 28:21 28 minutes, 21 seconds lights and a starboard and port lights, you know, the reds and the greens and things are blinking. And I thought, okay, these are lights blinking on it. 28:30 28 minutes, 30 seconds But with the video and analyzing pictures, they're not lights. It's bright areas 28:38 28 minutes, 38 seconds and they're small to large, uh, low to intense, very intense. And they they're 28:46 28 minutes, 46 seconds in the skin of the craft like an octopus that changes colors and changes shape. 28:52 28 minutes, 52 seconds And these lights are moving all over the craft in the body of it, not like a set light. And uh it it seemed that they 29:00 29 minutes were smaller and they get more intense, they get bigger. And then something occurred where they kind of consumed 29:07 29 minutes, 7 seconds each other and the object would spin and it look like a perfect round circle shape and would actually spin out of 29:17 29 minutes, 17 seconds sight and then it would reappear and it would be in a new shape and that could have been six or four to 10 seconds and Chapter 13: A craft that appeared to change shape 29:25 29 minutes, 25 seconds it's changing changing shape like was it's incredible fast. 29:30 29 minutes, 30 seconds Wow. And those pictures that you that you took are in this book. Yes. 29:35 29 minutes, 35 seconds So this is now the pictures that are in that book. 29:38 29 minutes, 38 seconds Um I I my second book, you know, I said I couldn't see it sometimes and I thought, okay, I have these pictures 29:46 29 minutes, 46 seconds that just look like blue sky. I know it's there. I saw it. I knew I took a picture. So I thought, well, if I could 29:53 29 minutes, 53 seconds see it with my polarized sunglasses, I'll try these other filters that are in, you know, the 30:01 30 minutes, 1 second word product, Microsoft stuff. And uh I used different filters and eventually was able to locate it in several of the 30:09 30 minutes, 9 seconds pictures as that round object that's very difficult to see. And those are included in the other book, but th that 30:16 30 minutes, 16 seconds one omits those blue sky pictures. Is that part of the reason for the title hidden hidden in plain sight? 30:23 30 minutes, 23 seconds Oh, definitely. I I think that [snorts] whatever this is and whatever the other 30:30 30 minutes, 30 seconds things are, they're out there 24/7. And daylight, you're not normally looking in the daytime. 30:40 30 minutes, 40 seconds Um, you go out, you see lights at night. 30:42 30 minutes, 42 seconds Okay, it's easy to see a light, but they're there in the day. And when they want to be seen, they'll be seen. now 30:49 30 minutes, 49 seconds not knowing what that was and I still don't know what it is and there's as I as I go through the book I'm describing 30:56 30 minutes, 56 seconds what I see and my guesses my muon field investigator very strongly initially believed that it was a craft 31:06 31 minutes, 6 seconds that the government somehow had acquired and re-engineered and were flying it or 31:14 31 minutes, 14 seconds the other two guesses that uh she had uh Captain retired from the Air Force. Sabrina Rob, she was a nuclear uh launch control 31:23 31 minutes, 23 seconds officer, now move on investigator at that time. 31:28 31 minutes, 28 seconds Her thoughts were along that and then it was like the government is aware of it or involved with it somehow. 31:36 31 minutes, 36 seconds And then it was the other guest was well the government knows about it, but they're not involved with it. And then 31:43 31 minutes, 43 seconds our last guest, which was my first feeling all along, was that this was biological in some way, especially the Chapter 14: Why he called it Hiding in Plain Sight 31:50 31 minutes, 50 seconds way the lights moved over the skin. And when you look at the pictures, you'll see a leading edge like the front of it, 31:57 31 minutes, 57 seconds and it's rounded like to me just like the head of a bonnet head shark. And the eyes are on the end, and those are pointed out in the book. 32:10 32 minutes, 10 seconds And when it changes shape, then you'll see other um angles, 32:17 32 minutes, 17 seconds triangles, rectangles, shapes that are in that craft. And as you go through the pictures, the overall craft may have 32:26 32 minutes, 26 seconds changed shape or object, but there's still those sections that are still in there. They're they're populated throughout it. And 32:35 32 minutes, 35 seconds I I think I got maybe it's a guess, but that is somehow 32:44 32 minutes, 44 seconds um [snorts] a biological craft that has advanced human 32:54 32 minutes, 54 seconds or nonhuman intelligence that is controlling it. and possibly inside that one large area that looks like what we 33:04 33 minutes, 4 seconds would put a capsule and a rocket is in this one picture. And you know, I mean, I don't know what it is. These are all hypothesis, guesses, everything. 33:14 33 minutes, 14 seconds Well, the pictures in your book are really impressive. And one thing that a lot of people criticize about the UFO conversation is the lack of, you know, good, clear photographic evidence. 33:23 33 minutes, 23 seconds People are saying, "Oh, there's a billions of iPhones on the planet. How come there's so few good pictures?" But these are really clear, really good shots. 33:31 33 minutes, 31 seconds And along those lines, a lot of the pictures that you say look like it's a round ball and that's it. Well, I have those pictures. 33:41 33 minutes, 41 seconds But I think what I had that other people didn't have that take those pictures is 33:47 33 minutes, 47 seconds I had an extended sighting and I was able to see it go through those transformations from an identifiable 33:55 33 minutes, 55 seconds looking craft spinning around to that bright ball of light 34:02 34 minutes, 2 seconds to a craft to a ball to a craft. And most of those people, others that I've 34:09 34 minutes, 9 seconds seen those pictures, they may have one or two pictures of only that. They don't have that extended almost 3-hour sighting like I did. 34:18 34 minutes, 18 seconds Okay, so I've never been a huge weed person. Mostly because I think dispensaries are a little overwhelming and pretentious. That's just me. But whether you're like me or you're really 34:26 34 minutes, 26 seconds into weed, you're about to nerd out big time because there is this company called Mood that's changing the way people can buy cannabis. You know how most dispensaries make you choose 34:35 34 minutes, 35 seconds between strains with ridiculous names and you have no idea which one is for you and you're just standing there like, "Okay, cool. I don't know what this means or how it's going to make me 34:43 34 minutes, 43 seconds feel." Well, that's what mood.com figured out. And by the way, you can get 20% off your first order with promo code unveiled. You just go to mood.com and 34:52 34 minutes, 52 seconds click shop bymood and that's it. So, head to moo.com and get 20% off your first order. Now, 35:15 35 minutes, 15 seconds do you draw any connections between your near-death experience and your UAP encounter? 35:23 35 minutes, 23 seconds I never really put the two together as as far as that's why I had it. But I do think that 35:31 35 minutes, 31 seconds uh it it opened my perspective certainly to 35:37 35 minutes, 37 seconds um more in life and afterlife and that it certainly uh could be Chapter 15: Are NDEs and UAP connected? 35:44 35 minutes, 44 seconds related. I'm just not aware of it, but it could be that it may have opened up your your awareness enough that these things can present themselves to you more easily. 35:54 35 minutes, 54 seconds And I didn't um you know, you hear people have near-death experiences, get traumatic brain injuries, and they wake up and they can speak seven languages 36:02 36 minutes, 2 seconds and uh do unsolvable math problems or play musical instruments. And I didn't get any of that. So, I'm like, man, I 36:11 36 minutes, 11 seconds wish I would have got that, too. But but I I do feel what I did get was uh that uh empathy and I very much can empathize 36:20 36 minutes, 20 seconds with what other people are going through. I feel uh happiness, pain and 36:27 36 minutes, 27 seconds don't put that out but I I I feel it and uh so I think that was one of the the parts that I did get from that accident. 36:37 36 minutes, 37 seconds Your job was so intensely physical. How do you how do you reconcile that with, you know, your insights on consciousness 36:45 36 minutes, 45 seconds that you you gained from the near-death experience? 36:48 36 minutes, 48 seconds I don't think that it limited me to worry about, you know, some of the 36:56 36 minutes, 56 seconds things that would happen. Uh, I mean, other than to take the normal precautions to be safe and, you know, 37:04 37 minutes, 4 seconds everything we did was dangerous. We didn't limit ourselves in training. We trained like we were going to war and and there were many people that were injured or killed in training. 37:15 37 minutes, 15 seconds the spiritual there's there's many guys I work with that are very religious and some would say they're spiritual some 37:22 37 minutes, 22 seconds would say they're religious and I think uh some may not but that um is certainly 37:29 37 minutes, 29 seconds a factor to just um have that as a comfort that there is more there when you're doing your job 37:37 37 minutes, 37 seconds right what's your best guess as to what the uh what the UAP that you saw actually is. I know that you said you 37:45 37 minutes, 45 seconds had a feeling that it was like biological in nature. Um you think it was an entity more than a craft that you witnessed? 37:52 37 minutes, 52 seconds Um a biological could have had uh some type of built manufactured to it. But 38:01 38 minutes, 1 second overall my feeling is that it was more biological. 38:06 38 minutes, 6 seconds the the lines, the shapes are more like nature, more like you'll 38:14 38 minutes, 14 seconds find in the ocean. Uh manor rays, [snorts] stingrays, 38:20 38 minutes, 20 seconds uh large uh fish, you know, one looks like a a flying manoray. 38:28 38 minutes, 28 seconds Um there's even people who have classified different um shapes as like jellyfish because they seem to have a body with 38:38 38 minutes, 38 seconds some sort of like tentacles hanging below it. So there's been those sightings too. So I didn't see anything that I thought looked like the jellyfish 38:46 38 minutes, 46 seconds manoray more like was what I saw or in a couple of pictures an elongated body 38:55 38 minutes, 55 seconds that looks similar to an octopus shooting away or a squid that's shooting away. Um 39:04 39 minutes, 4 seconds but I do lean more in my thoughts and my beliefs of what I saw that it is biological in 39:13 39 minutes, 13 seconds nature with a an intelligent interface whether it's nonhuman or 39:21 39 minutes, 21 seconds advanced human technology that uh is very close hold very secret we don't know anything about it it's a thousand 39:28 39 minutes, 28 seconds years ahead of us um I don't Oh, what do you think about the theory that 39:36 39 minutes, 36 seconds these these craft could be future humans coming back to to to visit maybe their 39:45 39 minutes, 45 seconds their origins or different parts of their history. 39:49 39 minutes, 49 seconds Along those thoughts of future humans with that advanced technology that we anticipate they would have and coming back in time. 40:00 40 minutes That's where I think it is a biological craft. And that area inside that looks 40:06 40 minutes, 6 seconds like a rectangular capsule of sorts, they would travel in 40:13 40 minutes, 13 seconds it. So somehow they've they're not just traveling in a craft, but that's um 40:20 40 minutes, 20 seconds maybe I don't know how future humans would do time travel or dimensional travel, which I think are both are 40:30 40 minutes, 30 seconds probably going to be possible someday and maybe um they're both possible now and we're unaware of it. 40:37 40 minutes, 37 seconds Yeah, could be. How do other military people or how have other military people reacted to hearing your story? 40:45 40 minutes, 45 seconds Um, mostly positive. I don't the but a lot of the people that have 40:52 40 minutes, 52 seconds talked to me are more private talking to me about their sightings and their things um of what they've seen and what 41:00 41 minutes they think about it. Um, so guys that totally don't believe about believe it, they're not they don't reach out to me 41:08 41 minutes, 8 seconds to say, "Hey, you're you're full of bull or anything like that." So where I do see some of that in the past and let it 41:15 41 minutes, 15 seconds roll off like water like on a duck's back is with anonymous accounts that will poke, you know, at everybody or 41:25 41 minutes, 25 seconds just uh for whatever reason. But, you know, I've heard it's a a balloon. It's a myar balloon. Oh, it's a candy wrapper 41:34 41 minutes, 34 seconds blowing in the wind. And you know, I don't believe any of that. You know, my story is detailed in there. When I 41:43 41 minutes, 43 seconds took those pictures, um I was more focused on what I had going on than the what the pictures in 41:50 41 minutes, 50 seconds my camera. So, it was about two weeks before I downloaded them to my laptop. 41:56 41 minutes, 56 seconds And [clears throat] when I did download them, then it was like that was the what the heck [clears throat] is this Chapter 16: Scott’s “biological craft” theory 42:05 42 minutes, 5 seconds thing? It's so weird. Uh I've never seen anything like it. Almost 42:13 42 minutes, 13 seconds scary. And going through the pictures one after the other to see those things and I didn't know what to do with them. 42:20 42 minutes, 20 seconds But being uh in the military and having, you know, previously held top secret clearances 42:27 42 minutes, 27 seconds and knowing that maybe this was a government project, I didn't just want to publish those pictures out to the 42:34 42 minutes, 34 seconds world if it was something that was secret and maybe it is secret, but it but um so I spoke to a friend in the military. 42:46 42 minutes, 46 seconds They knew I was excited about it. They said, "Well, send me some pictures." They would send them to an analyst 42:53 42 minutes, 53 seconds that looks at pictures and things and they'll be able to identify what it is. 42:58 42 minutes, 58 seconds I said, "Great. Let's do it." Oh, every few days I'm saying, "Hey, did you hear anything back? Did you hear anything back? What' they say?" Few weeks go by. 43:08 43 minutes, 8 seconds Yeah. I heard back from them. They said they don't know what it is. They're going to send those pictures to another agency with a better capability to 43:16 43 minutes, 16 seconds analyze pictures. I said, ' Okay, that's great. Um, let's really find out what it is. So, again, every few days I'm like, 43:24 43 minutes, 24 seconds "Hey, did you you hear from them? What' they say? What' they say?" And few weeks go by and I, "Hey, what' they say?" I said, "Well, I did hear back from them. 43:33 43 minutes, 33 seconds They said, "Your pictures are a weather balloon and by the way, your camera has an anomaly." And I said, "A weather 43:42 43 minutes, 42 seconds balloon? That's same story." It's they say every time, you know, 50, 60, 70 years they've been saying that or swamp 43:50 43 minutes, 50 seconds gas or something else. And I like I know it doesn't I know it's not a weather balloon. And uh so then I I started 43:59 43 minutes, 59 seconds reaching out to people. Um made a move report. That's when I met uh my field investigator, Sabrina Rob. Like I said, retired Air Force. 44:11 44 minutes, 11 seconds and she introduced me to a few other people, but uh that just is it has not [snorts and clears throat] been identified yet. But I hear those 44:21 44 minutes, 21 seconds other stories of people that don't want to believe it or want to say that it's something uh I mean they could certainly 44:28 44 minutes, 28 seconds have their guesses, but I it's not a candy wrapper blowing in the wind. 44:32 44 minutes, 32 seconds And you mentioned to me also that the images in this book have been enlarged, but they haven't been modified in any way. 44:41 44 minutes, 41 seconds first book I wanted to put it out, didn't tell anybody I was doing it. I self-published 44:48 44 minutes, 48 seconds and all I did was enlarge the pictures and cropped them to fit the book and to be able to see what I was zoomed in on. 44:58 44 minutes, 58 seconds After I self-published that book and I think around August of 2020, July or 45:05 45 minutes, 5 seconds August of 2020, I was introduced to Sabrina to a couple other individuals. One of them, like I 45:13 45 minutes, 13 seconds said, was in the army uh helicopter pilot. He said that he had she had actually had him verify the 45:21 45 minutes, 21 seconds pictures before she really continued and wanted to make sure that I wasn't trying to pull a hoax with these things. and 45:28 45 minutes, 28 seconds she had them validated through her uh contacts and we began talking and he 45:38 45 minutes, 38 seconds uh said, "Hey, I I analyze other pictures. I get things from different uh agencies, NASA, wherever he gets these Chapter 17: Weather balloon explanations and photo analysis 45:46 45 minutes, 46 seconds pictures. He analyzes them." And he said, "What I would like to do is to analyze your pictures and enhance them." 45:54 45 minutes, 54 seconds And I was like, "I don't know what that is." He cuz I was afraid of doing something to them that would make them 46:01 46 minutes, 1 second really look uh like I had faked it. And he said, "No, it's not going to change anything." He said, "It's a software, 46:08 46 minutes, 8 seconds same software the FBI uses to enhance evidence." And I don't know what they use, but he said, "Same software they 46:16 46 minutes, 16 seconds use for an evidence." I said, "Well, they're using something to enhance evidence." I know. 46:23 46 minutes, 23 seconds Let's do it. And so those pictures came out remarkably clear. The shape is still there. The same shape and everything. 46:31 46 minutes, 31 seconds Nothing's changed, but you see more detail in the pictures. And then that's 46:38 46 minutes, 38 seconds when I thought, well, I feel like I shortchanged people in with that book when I could have had some more clear 46:46 46 minutes, 46 seconds pictures. So that's when I published a second book with the enhanced pictures in it. 46:52 46 minutes, 52 seconds All right. Before your sighting, did you have any interest in in UFOs at all or was it something always? Oh, you did. 46:58 46 minutes, 58 seconds Always. Yep. Yep. You know, I mean, I can go back as a kid. My I think my first encounter with something weird was 47:07 47 minutes, 7 seconds uh group of kids, my neighborhood. We were out in the evening, you know, back when you could stay out till the street lights came on, you know, but it was 47:16 47 minutes, 16 seconds dark. Not many street lights in that area. And uh suddenly somebody I don't remember who 47:23 47 minutes, 23 seconds me or somebody sees something in the air and it looks like a giant green donut and it's pulsating. It's in 47:32 47 minutes, 32 seconds the air and everybody screams and runs into their respective homes never not to be seen again. Right. Well, it scared us 47:40 47 minutes, 40 seconds to death and and so then it came out later. Well, that was a test from the military base. You know, Magdal Air Force Base was nearby. So I was it I I 47:49 47 minutes, 49 seconds don't know that was in the mid60s and uh and I didn't really think that I 47:57 47 minutes, 57 seconds experienced anything then but you know always being intrigued by what I saw on TV and later with the 48:05 48 minutes, 5 seconds shows, History Channel shows, Discovery Channel shows, Ancient Aliens and everything else that they had out there. 48:12 48 minutes, 12 seconds And I'd always think, man, there's so many pictures. You just can't see anything. I am going to keep my camera 48:20 48 minutes, 20 seconds with me always. And one day, I'm going to see something and take pictures. And 48:27 48 minutes, 27 seconds I always as best I could had that a regular uh 35 millimeter camera with me. 48:35 48 minutes, 35 seconds And uh that was on 2019 when I saw this and took those pictures. And I've had a couple other things happen after that 48:44 48 minutes, 44 seconds that um no I say not I had one that happened 2004 and incidentally in 2004 48:51 48 minutes, 51 seconds I was in northern Wisconsin with uh some friends in the evening campfire 48:59 48 minutes, 59 seconds and I wasn't drinking people I wasn't I sometimes I had a drink but I I would didn't have anything to drink or there 49:08 49 minutes, 8 seconds was some other circumstances going on and I I don't want to be under the influence when the other people I was with got in some fights. So, 49:16 49 minutes, 16 seconds but we're out by the fire and suddenly I realize that I feel frozen, 49:25 49 minutes, 25 seconds sleep paralysis, feeling waking up, you can't move. And I'm like, what's going on? And it's like everything's kind of a 49:32 49 minutes, 32 seconds just a blur around me. I can't I can't clearly see anything. I'm in this paralysis state and I'm fighting to come 49:40 49 minutes, 40 seconds out of it. I'm thinking in my mind, I've got whatever it is, I'm going to fight out my way out of it. And then I just I come out of it. I'm disoriented. I don't 49:49 49 minutes, 49 seconds know what's going on around me. I And I immediately realize that there is a 49:57 49 minutes, 57 seconds light shining down from above and there's a large circle of light on the ground and we're all in it. And my next thought is it must be a helicopter. 50:07 50 minutes, 7 seconds And all these thoughts are fing where's the wind? Where's the sound? I know what it's like under a helicopter can't be. I look to see what they're doing and they're just seem to be frozen as well. 50:18 50 minutes, 18 seconds And then I look up and I could see where it originated from. Some dark craft, 50:27 50 minutes, 27 seconds no noise, no wind. 50:32 50 minutes, 32 seconds And then it started to move and the light started to move and then it clicked off and I was trying to focus on 50:38 50 minutes, 38 seconds the craft and I could see an outline because I could see stars from other light that was up there, a bright moon 50:46 50 minutes, 46 seconds and I could see it reflecting and there probably three seconds and it disappeared 50:52 50 minutes, 52 seconds and that freaked me out quite a bit and I asked them, "Hey, what was that?" and they might know what I'm talking about 51:01 51 minutes, 1 second whether their drinks were involved or whatever beer and uh they didn't know what I was talking about. I looked 51:08 51 minutes, 8 seconds online to see if anybody reported stuff and there were other reports that particular night in the state so I don't know if they were related or not. 51:18 51 minutes, 18 seconds Somebody saw something. So that was 2005 or 2004. 51:24 51 minutes, 24 seconds And so that kind of really started a more interest of what is going on and then keeping my camera with me. 51:32 51 minutes, 32 seconds But for that event, nobody else that you were with perceived anything. No, they didn't. That is fascinating. That wasn't then come to 2019. 51:42 51 minutes, 42 seconds Then uh then I moved I had up to uh had a cabin 51:50 51 minutes, 50 seconds kind of isolated myself a bit. I moved into a cabin up near the border of Minnesota and Canada. Beautiful country. 51:58 51 minutes, 58 seconds I had cameras out, motion activated cameras, and I'm in the living room area one night and my dogs with me. It was Chapter 18: Scott’s childhood UFO memory 52:06 52 minutes, 6 seconds just me and him up there and I get the alert on my phone, motion activated on on the front. I'm like, 52:15 52 minutes, 15 seconds that is dark up there. There's no lights. I'm not around anything. I'm in a national forest. And I'm like, 52:22 52 minutes, 22 seconds I don't see anything. I'm looking and then I see, it's very weird, 52:30 52 minutes, 30 seconds two orbs on the deck and they're like on on top of the other and they're bouncing and they set the motion detector off. 52:40 52 minutes, 40 seconds Whatever it was, wasn't an animal. I'm like, I'm looking at it and then I get up. I'm watching my camera and I go over 52:47 52 minutes, 47 seconds to the door and I'm looking out. There is nothing there that I can see. But I can see it on the camera. So, there's 52:55 52 minutes, 55 seconds been a few little things that are where do they what do they add up to? I don't know. But what do you think about the the 53:04 53 minutes, 4 seconds disclosured conversation that's happening right now? 53:08 53 minutes, 8 seconds We've just had two batches of files released from the Department of War. Um, you know, there's a a lot of this entering the public discourse right now. Chapter 19: The Wisconsin light encounter 53:21 53 minutes, 21 seconds Um, I imagine that you're supportive of releasing information. 53:24 53 minutes, 24 seconds Oh, certainly supportive of it. I I'd be very surprised if any definitive stuff comes out of this. My feelings on it are 53:32 53 minutes, 32 seconds you look in the history of some politicians and they've said, "We're not alone. We see things. We don't know what 53:40 53 minutes, 40 seconds they are." So, I'm thinking, okay, that's telling us something there. We're not seeing uh 53:47 53 minutes, 47 seconds the actual crafts or non-human intelligence or ET being paraded on 53:53 53 minutes, 53 seconds television for everybody to see, but there are many u secret areas military related and they could very easily have something there. 54:05 54 minutes, 5 seconds I don't know if they do or not. Maybe they do. Maybe they will disclose that. 54:10 54 minutes, 10 seconds But like the sightings, I think you're either lucky enough, right time, 54:18 54 minutes, 18 seconds right place to see something or if there is a connection, it will reveal 54:25 54 minutes, 25 seconds itself to that individual and I feel that's what happened with me in 2019. 54:31 54 minutes, 31 seconds you feel that that there's more importance in that in in embracing the individual um connection experiences rather than 54:40 54 minutes, 40 seconds going along with this big disclosure narrative of presenting videos and evidence and stuff like that. Is it more 54:46 54 minutes, 46 seconds of a personal thing do you think? Um, I would like to see what transpires from 54:52 54 minutes, 52 seconds it. And you have to wonder why at this time after all these years to uh deny, 55:00 55 minutes deny, deny, deny. And then in the last couple of years, oh yeah, we we're not alone. And we've been uh continuing to 55:08 55 minutes, 8 seconds explore these uh reports of UFOs and UAP and you know, the name changes. Why does the name change? really trying to make it more easy for people to accept it. 55:20 55 minutes, 20 seconds And then all this stuff comes out in the news, but it's really only a small group of people that are interested in it. 55:28 55 minutes, 28 seconds Relatively speaking, small with the overall populations. If you're out on the street and talking to people, they they don't know they're unaware that 55:36 55 minutes, 36 seconds disclosure from the government is happening. Yeah. 55:39 55 minutes, 39 seconds So, um we'll see what happens. What inspired you to speak publicly about your experiences? 55:50 55 minutes, 50 seconds Well, the near-death, you know, and the motivational side and people just wanted to hear the story. So, it started from that and built up. Okay, I'll do that. 56:00 56 minutes And uh as far as when I had that uh sighting in 2019, 56:06 56 minutes, 6 seconds it was just like maybe more reasons than one was like um I want others to realize 56:15 56 minutes, 15 seconds what I saw. If I make a report, it's not going to go anywhere. If I put it in a book, other people will see it as well. 56:22 56 minutes, 22 seconds And maybe others have seen things like this, maybe they haven't. Um, but it was 56:28 56 minutes, 28 seconds just more of a get it out there and just add to the disclosure process itself. 56:35 56 minutes, 35 seconds There are things out there that people see. A lot of people see them and, you know, everybody's not crazy. 56:45 56 minutes, 45 seconds That's for sure. Well, you have a fascinating story. I I'm really happy that I got to speak to you. Uh, thank you for being here this weekend. And it's great to have people like yourself 56:53 56 minutes, 53 seconds out here uh engaging with the community and everything. 56:57 56 minutes, 57 seconds Oh, thanks for having me. I appreciate uh sharing the stories. Thank you. 57:01 57 minutes, 1 second Really interesting. And again, I want to thank Contact in the Desert for having me out here to conduct interviews. And thank you to Darcy Weir for helping me 57:09 57 minutes, 9 seconds to film everything. Uh check out OULT Journeys. He's got a lot of great films over there. So, thanks again, Scott. Chapter 20: Disclosure and personal experience 57:16 57 minutes, 16 seconds All right. Thank you very much. Thank you.
