Copyright & Notice-and-Takedown Policy

1. Purpose

UAPRAD respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all members to do the same.

This policy explains how copyright concerns can be reported and how UAPRAD responds to claims that material available on the Website infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.

2. Member Responsibility

Members are responsible for ensuring that any content they upload, post or share is lawful and that they have the necessary rights or permissions to do so.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Documents
• Images
• Articles
• Research papers
• Videos
• Audio recordings
• Graphics
• Text and written material

By uploading content, you confirm that:

• You own the content, or
• You have permission from the copyright owner to share it, or
• The content may lawfully be shared under an applicable copyright exception or licence.

3. Respecting Copyright

Members must not knowingly upload material that:

• Infringes copyright.
• Violates trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
• Has been copied without permission where permission is required.

Where possible, members are encouraged to credit original authors and sources when sharing research or referencing published material.

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that material published on UAPRAD infringes your copyright or another intellectual property right, please contact us at:

Please include:

• Your name and contact details.
• A description of the copyrighted work.
• The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content.
• An explanation of why you believe the material infringes your rights.
• Any supporting evidence you wish to provide.
• A statement that the information you have provided is accurate and made in good faith.

Providing complete information helps us investigate your request more quickly.

5. Our Review Process

When we receive a valid copyright complaint, we will:

• Review the information provided.
• Consider any evidence submitted.
• Contact the member who uploaded the material where appropriate.
• Remove or temporarily disable access to the material if necessary while the matter is investigated.
• Notify the reporting party once a decision has been made where reasonably practicable.

Each report is assessed individually.

Submitting a notice does not automatically result in content being removed.

6. Counter-Notice

If your content has been removed and you believe this was done in error, you may contact UAPRAD to explain why you believe you have the legal right to publish the material.

Where appropriate, we may review additional evidence and reconsider our decision.

Our decision following review will be final unless otherwise required by law.

7. Repeat Infringement

Members who repeatedly upload content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights may have their content removed, their account suspended, or their membership permanently terminated.

8. Good Faith

Copyright notices and counter-notices should only be submitted in good faith.

Knowingly submitting false, misleading or malicious claims may itself breach our Terms of Service and may result in action being taken against the reporting member.

9. UAPRAD Content

Unless otherwise stated, the UAPRAD name, logo, website design, branding, graphics and original content created by UAPRAD are the intellectual property of UAPRAD and may not be reproduced, copied or redistributed without prior written permission.

Members retain ownership of the content they submit to UAPRAD, subject to the licence granted under the Terms of Service.
