Donations and Refunds Policy
Terms applying to voluntary financial contributions made to UAPRAD.
1. Who Receives Contributions
Contributions are received for the independent UAPRAD online project. Questions may be sent to contact@uaprad.org or by post to UAPRAD, 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom.
2. Not a Charity
UAPRAD is not a registered charity. Payments made through the contribution form are voluntary contributions rather than charitable donations. They are not eligible for Gift Aid and should not be treated as tax-deductible. Contributors should obtain their own tax advice if needed.
3. One-Time Voluntary Contributions
The website currently accepts one-time contributions in pounds sterling (GBP), with a minimum amount of £1. A contribution does not purchase goods, services, membership benefits, editorial influence, ownership, or a financial return.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's applicable terms and privacy practices. UAPRAD receives limited transaction information needed to confirm and administer the contribution but does not directly receive or store complete payment-card details.
5. Use of Contributions
Contributions may be applied to website hosting and development, research and source acquisition, publishing, administration, community services, outreach, and other reasonable costs of operating and developing UAPRAD. Unless expressly agreed in writing, contributors cannot restrict a contribution to a particular project.
6. Refunds
Voluntary contributions are normally non-refundable once processed. If a payment was made in error, duplicated, or made without authorization, contact contact@uaprad.org promptly with the payment date, amount, and transaction reference. Requests will be considered individually, and refunds will be made where required by law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Chargebacks and Fraud
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so that we can investigate. Suspected fraud, misuse, or unauthorized payments may be reported to Stripe, the payment provider, or relevant authorities where appropriate.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version and its effective date will be published on this page.
