The limits of the reported attraction operation

Burlison narrows a public post that appeared to say agencies had learned how to attract UFOs. According to his account, two PURSUE documents describe officials recreating conditions associated with earlier reports and then observing something, but he rejects the idea that they found a reliable trigger. He describes a route through his office for confidential leads and legal support, proposes questioning witnesses with conflicting accounts, and raises subpoenas as a possible means of compelling testimony. The applicable confidentiality rules and remedies for retaliation are not specified, while his claims about lost clearances and benefits require personnel and investigative records. His prediction that a change in House control would end the effort is a political forecast; committee leadership, bipartisan support and executive priorities would determine the actual outcome.
