Members Area (Beta)

Members Area under development

The Members Area of this website is currently under active development and is provided on a beta, trial and “as available” basis. By registering for or using the Members Area, you acknowledge and accept that its features, functionality and availability may change at any time while development continues.

We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion and without prior notice, to:

  • modify, replace, suspend or discontinue any feature or functionality within the Members Area;
  • create, suspend, restrict, merge, reset or permanently delete member accounts where reasonably necessary for development, testing, maintenance, security or operational purposes;
  • update, reorganise, migrate or remove databases and systems used to provide the Members Area;
  • remove, modify or delete user-generated content, account information, settings, preferences or other data where reasonably necessary for development, maintenance, testing, security, legal compliance or the proper operation of the website;
  • limit access to all or part of the Members Area, whether temporarily or permanently.

The Members Area should not be used as a permanent storage facility. Users are solely responsible for retaining independent copies of any content, information or materials they upload or submit.

Whilst we will use reasonable care in operating the Members Area, we do not warrant that the Members Area will be uninterrupted, error-free, continuously available or free from defects during its development.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, we shall not be liable for any loss arising from:

  • the temporary or permanent unavailability of the Members Area;
  • the modification, suspension or withdrawal of any feature or service;
  • the deletion or loss of user accounts;
  • the loss, corruption or removal of user-generated content or other data;
  • interruptions to access, system upgrades, maintenance or testing;
  • reliance placed upon features or functionality that are experimental or under development.

Users remain solely responsible for ensuring that any information, documents or content they wish to retain are backed up independently.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or our obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), or any other applicable legislation relating to the processing of personal data.

Where we process personal data, we will do so in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Users retain all rights afforded to them under applicable data protection legislation, including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing and, where applicable, data portability.

Continued use of the Members Area constitutes acceptance of these Terms and of any updates that may be published from time to time.

User Content & Acceptable Use

User Content

Where the Members Area permits users to post, upload, submit, transmit or otherwise make content available, including but not limited to text, images, videos, audio, documents, comments, messages, profile information or other materials (“User Content”), you remain the owner of any intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content.

By submitting User Content through the Website, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, process, adapt, distribute and otherwise use that User Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, securing and administering the Website and the Members Area.

You warrant that:

  • you own, or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions and licences required to upload and share your User Content;
  • your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights of any third party;
  • your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

You remain solely responsible for the User Content you submit and for any consequences arising from its publication.

Acceptable Use

Users interact with other members and any User Content entirely at their own risk.

Online Safety & Illegal Content Policy

1. Purpose

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and lawful online environment for all users of this Website and its Members Area.

This Policy explains the standards expected of users, how concerns may be reported and how we respond to content that may be unlawful, harmful or otherwise in breach of our Terms of Use.
