Overview

Pyramid claims are prominent in some recent imagery but have a thin well-documented case record. The category therefore concentrates on how optical systems can impose angular apertures on unresolved lights.

Observation and identification

A triangular or pyramidal image is not necessarily the outline of the source. Aperture shape, focus, gain and compression must be assessed before a recording is treated as evidence of three-dimensional geometry.

The earliest wording, sketches and recordings carry greater evidential weight than later labels or illustrations.
