Asymmetrical, changing or poorly resolved forms that resist a stable geometric description.
Overview
Reports of changing form require particular care because the appearance may change with orientation, focus, glare, sensor mode or compression. Some testimony describes physical transformation; other records establish only a changing image.
Observation and identification
The analysis should identify exactly what changed: outline, brightness, orientation, apparent number of objects or sensor presentation. Those observations support different inferences and should not be collapsed into one claim.
The earliest wording, sketches and recordings carry greater evidential weight than later labels or illustrations.
Selected reports
These sources preserve the relevant shape description. Their provenance and limitations are noted in each summary.
The mission report described a misshapen, uneven ball of white light; AARO's video narrative recorded two short-lived, semi-transparent irregular areas and also noted a reported glare halo.
Open record DOW-UAP-PR32, SyriaAARO described an irregular area of colour and brightness and compared its overall image to a bisected half-oval. The record concerns sensor appearance, not a resolved changing physical structure.
Open record UK Ministry of Defence UFO Report 2000The log records a pulsing light changing shape near Beeston on 16 April, a round-to-elliptical change at Glasgow on 8 May, a cluster changing from triangular forms to crosses at Salisbury on 27 July and several objects changing shape at Basildon on 10 September. These descriptions are heterogeneous and do not establish physical transformation.

Evidence assessment
The linked cases establish changing or disputed image appearances, not necessarily objects changing physical form. Sensor rotation, glare, compression and viewing geometry must be tested before transformation is treated as an observed property of the target.
